Worth the money
"This gaming laptop is a beast! The graphics are incredible, and it runs all my favorite games smoothly. The display is vibrant, and the keyboard feels great. It’s very easy to use. Sound quality is great. Plus, it's surprisingly portable. Definitely the best gaming laptop I've ever owned!"

My First Gaming PC
Not the biggest fan of laptops, but with this being my second one, it's impressive for what I use it for (writing and gaming). Battery life is optimal, and of course it depends on what you are doing, but it is decent compared to my old laptop. It does have some weight to it, but nothing I can't handle even while traveling with it. Starts up quickly and I like the way the keys light up when typing. Gaming- It handles my games just fine (Farmville2, SimCity4, Sims4), which, in my opinion, are very graphic intensive games. If you use the keyboard for your games (wasd), they are made to stand out among the other keys, which is nice. It does catch dust and finger prints easily BUT Wipes down nicely to dust and clean. Not disappointed in this product at all. Check out my short video so you can look at it in real time.

Has problems, but still a solid choice
This laptop, overall, has been good to me. I bought it 4 months ago. It has problems that have been annoying, but I've been able to deal with it. However, objectively, it seems to me that a laptop like this shouldn't have the issues that it did for me - especially right out of the box. Problems: (1) Very slow boot speed. I was at 27.7 seconds BIOS time pretty much immediately. I've seen it as high as 46 seconds and doesn't seem to be getting better. I'm no expert, but... (2) 4 months in, and one of the USB port no longer works. I have only one left, so I had to buy a USB hub. (3) The bluetooth adapter was minimally functional to begin with (very limited range) and as of about the 2 month mark, no longer works. I bought a USB bluetooth adapter (which, comically, no longer works because the USB port it was in no longer functions (4) I don't think I noticed it right away, but maybe 3 or 4 weeks in, it became clear that the laptop speaker has very minimal output capabilities. On 100% volume, I can barely hear anything. (5) I use the laptop on night mode a lot so that I don't stare at blue light all day, and I have noticed that the screen flickers back to blue on occasion. Not a huge deal I suppose. But other than that, it's great! Haha. I realize that it's a bit of a budget gaming laptop, so I'm willing to put up with some of these things. Especially given that the core elements---storage capacity, graphics capability, memory, processing speed---are all excellent. So if you're like me and you are willing to put up with some slight negatives, this is a solid choice for the price.

AMAZING
Really like this laptop. It’s a little heavy but that’s good since it has the power. Its has dual fans and multiple modes of performance. Only thing is the keyboards light is orange but doesn’t bother me anymore. I’ve played multiple game and they run great imo.!

Solid Desktop Replacement - Bad Portable Device
I had this laptop for about 2 months, but I sold it. In those 2 months I can say that the laptop is solid, good build quality, nice keyboard, and I really liked the ports on the back, but why no USB-C charge? Really Acer? You're going to make me carry a 135W (?) charger around in 2024 and only ONE (1) USB-C with no thunderbolt when the Acer Nitro 16 actually does have USB-C charge. The performance was amazing, on par with my 2021 Desktop RTX 3060 build, having a 4060 on a laptop and using Frame Generation is a blessing for a portable device, however, I purchased a laptop, for it to be... a laptop.... It's actually insane that Acer has been putting $1000 gaming laptops on the market with mediocre 45% NTSC and 57wh batteries. The main reasons why I didn't like this laptop is because the battery would last at most, MAX, with optimizations and battery saver on, 4 hours, and the screen looks flat out terrible. I'm used to a 99.9% DCI-P3 monitor and this laptop display would make me sad. Why does this model exist when the Nitro 16 has rgb keyboard, better screen, better battery, better IO and USB-C charge???? So, to summarize: PROS: good keyboard, good build, solid performance and good temperatures, not too loud. CONS: terrible screen and battery, only 2 USB A and 1 USB-C with no charging capabilities. Get the Nitro 16 instead.

Slama-jam!
Solid "1080p" game player(1920x1200 in reality). Took it immediately from 16gb(2x8) to 32gb(2x16), and added an additional 1tb nvme for a total of 2tb. 165hz screen, solid keyboard, Nvidia rtx 4060, Ryzen 7 8845hs CPU. One downside is the fans can be quite noticable when playing demanding games. There's a quiet option for the fans, but then it'll run hot. Would be nice if the keyboard was RGB over the adjustable brightness orange color. It's also a bit heavy, but light enough to still be a laptop. For the $830 price point I got it at during prime days is totally worth it.

Amazing laptop
It's an amazing laptop. It's fast and reliable. It can play most of the games I've played like New World. It heats up after a couple of hours play time, but I bought a small fan and point it at the laptop and it cools it off. I'm gappy with my purchase.
