First of all, I understand that this shampoo is for the curly haired girlies but I have straight hair and this is my favorite product to use in the shower. I use this as a pre-wash before using my regular shampoo and let me tell you.. my hair and scalp feel so clean after using this. I'm not 100% certain that this contributes to the volume in my hair but let's say it does because my hair is very voluminous after using this. I only use this when a few times a month and I've had this product for over 6 months now. AND THE SMELL?! I don't know what magic they have put in this scent but it smells so good and nostalgic to me. It reminds me of a Victoria's Secret or Bath & Body Works perfume from like 2010. It's not overpowering though. Just a pleasant surprise for me and probably the main reason I will continue to use this forever :)

I love this FU shampoo. My hair feels incredibly clean and silky after using it. This is my second bottle, and I highly recommend it.

I used this shampoo for the first time last night, as it was time for a clarifying wash. This is the first clarifying shampoo I’ve ever used that doesn’t make my super dry 4B hair all rough and tangled afterwards. Even with an pre-poo treatment, they’ve all done that, maybe because my hair is high porosity. This one doesn’t! My hair was “squeaky” clean, and yet I could still get my fingers through it without ripping a clump of it out. And it smells gorgeous. Even better, it’s affordable, and you get a good amount of product. It can be challenging to find a good brand made for kinky/coily hair that’s affordable. My routine has been to use a gentle low lather shampoo 2-3 times a week, and a clarifying shampoo once a month. But I’m going to try clarifying every other week with this shampoo and see how my hair responds. It seems to be gentle enough for that, yet it left my hair and scalp extremely clean. When this bottle runs out, I think I will repurchase this shampoo. The only thing I would suggest changing is the cap. I put a twist nozzle cap on the bottle, which I have been doing with every bottle of shampoo I’ve used for the past few years that doesn’t already come with one. It just makes it so much easier to get the product directly on the scalp. I always save twist nozzle caps for precisely that purpose, since a lot of brands don’t put them on their shampoo (or hair oil) bottles. If there’s a leave-in conditioner from this brand (especially if it’s a gel-cream formula that can also be used on dry hair and provide a light hold) I would want to try it for sure, because I’m big on leave-ins. So far, two thumbs up, Tia!

I am torn between 3 and 4 stars. It works great and cleans my hair of product but it makes the ends of my hair feel like straw.

This is a great clarifying shampoo. It gets out all the product in your hair without drying out you hair too much and has a good slip.

It's advertised as being for curly hair, but it works very well on my fine, mostly straight hair, delivering a powerful clean without drying it out. Plus my hair smells absolutely amazing for hours afterward whenever I use it!

I'm a black woman married to a white man, we both use this shampoo and we both love it! My husband's hair is no longer oily and stringy, I've noticed a nice shine to it and more volume. As for me, I have noticed that my hair and scalp feel so clean and full of moisture which is important for my 4C hair.

This is one of the best shampoo that my 4c hair has ever used. I have low porosity hair. (My hair doesn’t absorb moisture easily) after using this my hair was so clean and you only need a little to get a great lather. It smells great too. Good job, Tia!
