This will bring out the flavors of your coffee. I have never had such a good cup of coffee. I was not happy with the taste from a Keurig, so I went to a drip coffee maker, which was better, then I went to a pour over version where you boil water and pour it in the pot, and that was a little better, but this tops them all! The coffee is strong. I use Peet’s organic French roast, which has notes of chocolate. And I can taste the chocolate. It is really amazing the difference this pot has made. To address some of the negative comments, the packing was excellent for me and they even put the glass topper in its own Styrofoam cube. This says it holds 9 cups, but those must be around 6 ounces or so. When I filled it and poured it into a measuring cup it was about 5 cups or 40 ounces. One review mentioned there wasn’t enough room for the grounds and I think he was putting them in the wrong place. Speaking of grounds, the first time I did the coffee there wasn’t any grounds in it, but the second time I got grounds. What I do is I sandwich the grounds between the filters. It works fantastic. So that solved the grounds in the coffee problem. There’s plenty of room for the grounds. (I used 4 T and it was maybe a 1/4 of the way full.) Especially for this size coffee pot, which is perfect for a couple or a single person. It works wonderful on my induction stove and after it started boiling, I let it perk for about seven minutes. It is worth the wait. It probably didn’t need to perk that long as it was very strong, but I like it that way. The coffee, of course, is boiling hot. Leaving it on the induction burner will keep the coffee warm for around 20 minutes. I love the way. The pot looks and that it’s not too big or bulky. The pour spout is perfect with no drips or spills. I’m just very impressed with this coffee pot. It was a little more expensive at $40. However, it’s simple, stainless steel, and should last a long time. The cool touch handle is also makes it easy to pick up and pour. I’m using this at home right now, but I love the versatility of being able to take this with me on my camping trips. Takes up little space, and when you’re camping you won’t need electric. Love it!

I’ve not had this very long, but I’m loving the coffee. The first pot I made seemed bitter, but I had just made it way too strong. Once I got the strength right I really loved the result. I’ve started with Maxwell House regular grind, but I’m really excited about learning to use a coarser grind and the different results you can create. The quality of construction is excellent, as good as pots costing more, and not junk like some. Goodbye K-cups. I’m becoming a percolator snob.

This will make 9 cups of coffee however the coffee basket is the smaller size than my 4 cup Faberware. If I use the basket filter for my 4 cup it is too tall even though it is the recommended size for this percolator, so why does the 4 cup Fabberware have a larger basket? If you try to make 9 cups you will have a mess. When I say mess I mean a ton of coffee grounds in your coffee. I gave it 3 stars because it does work on an induction cooktop. If only the coffee basket was a good size like other 8-9 cup coffee. Percolators I would give it 5 stars but this thing was designed to use the bare minimum at a premium price. * If you use the little disk filter you can make a pot without a ton of grounds in your coffee but you might as well not use a filter at all. Bottom line - I think this is the only coffee percolator that works on an induction stove. In future designs it would be nice if the basket was larger and that they would pay attention to full basket filters that have a hole punch in the bottom to make sure it accommodates them and can run without making a mess. I am sure people who paid this much already would pay a little more for a larger basket and if there is one available as a replacement I would buy that tomorrow. Please let me know if you ever make a larger basket for this coffee maker or if there is a larger one that works.

It is suitable for induction, works very well on my induction stove, a Bosch induction stove. I boil the water first in an electric kettle. The advantage of this item is that you can do with much less coffee, I use 0.776oz = 22 Grams of coffee vs 1.23oz = 35 Grams of coffee for 4 mugs of coffee in a normal drip machine You must use paper filters, the 3.75" wrap around type. Because the coffee gets recirculated, the coffee will be much stronger for the same amount of coffee. I leave the coffee perculating for about 15 to 30 minutes and after the coffee has perculated enough I pour the coffee via a strainer into a growler to keep the coffee warm. You must use a strainer or sieve, because there is a significant amount of coffee grinds in the coffee otherwise. if you are willing to out up with the extra hassle then it is worth it, if you don't just stay with the normal drip machine

I like this pot. It works anywhere including on my induction stove. Wish it was 14 cups.

Wonderful percolator that gives you decent control over strength of your coffee and brews a good amount for a single person. Seems like a good build quality, and is a decent price. Coffee tastes much better than my Keurig K-Duo (which would come out very low quality/bad taste), but much better with this. Looks decent on the stove, size is similar to a standard campfire coffee maker (not too large) . Convenience is the only thing lost when going to this, other than yet, it’s perfect.

This is the best coffee maker I have ever purchased . Well made craftsmanship …awesome …zero warping that others do like cheaper ones .They sent with filters that I intend to order . Makes lovely flavoursome hot coffee with minimum fuss. Would highly recommend! After working with French Press and cafeteria of all sorts I got sick of lukewarm tepid coffee. I love this, it’s just old school basic percolated coffee made on the stove. I would say better to use a good coarse ground as finer grinds will go down the central tube. Very easy to maintain and clean and looks good!!

Works perfectly on my induction cooktop, makes great coffee, and looks good doing it. Took it camping and it also works as it should over fire/camp stove. Will probably buy a larger one for everyday kitchen use.

Love it. Cheaper versions bounced around on the induction hob. This one sits perfectly still and makes a great coffee. Very pleased. Also well constructed and durable. A quality product.
