Does the Job, and Then Some
Toasts filament like an oven does pizza. Simple enough to be reliable and easy to use, complex enough to cover plenty of different filaments. Never had a problem with it. Kind of hard to say anything else. It's a great hobbyist's dryer.

High quality, fixed my PETG filament
Read several reviews on 3D printer review sites about filament dryers and this one is consistently top rated. I was having loads of trouble printing PETG that was more than a month old, and this completely resolved my issues. I run it for about 10 hours before printing, and my filament is printing perfectly again. I leave it attached to my printed with the included PTFE tubing. The filament unspools easily and feeds nicely into the printer. Also great for keeping dust and debris off the filament. Easy to use, just big enough to hold the filament without taking up loads of space. Only complaint is that the rear opening lid means you quite a bit of space behind the dryer to load filament, and if you have it on a shelf it could be difficult to get the filament over top. Only complaint is that there is not a stopper for the tubing so over time it will creep down into the dryer and cause some feeding issues. A dab of hot glue around the PTFE tube where it is inserted into the dryer will prevent this issue.

Gets the job done!
Gets the job done with minimal fuss, have had great results so far with some old spools of PETG. One star off for some wonky timer behavior; I wouldn't rely on the auto shut-off. I've had it just continue drying past 00:00 on several occasions, with the timer counting up after that point like it's going into negative numbers. Otherwise it's been perfectly functional and dries filament effectively. Only goes up to 65C so not suitable for some higher-temp "engineering" plastics, but handles PLA, TPU, and PETG just fine. Good value for money compared to other dryers I've seen.

Moist Filament Ruins Lives—This Box Saves Them
Rule number one of FDM printing: dry your filament. Want strong adhesion, smoother walls, and fewer “why did this fail 17 hours into a 22-hour print” meltdowns? Then keep your plastic spaghetti from soaking up the humidity like a paper towel at a water balloon fight. Does drying guarantee a perfect print every time? Nope. But it dramatically boosts your odds and keeps you from rage-quitting halfway through a spool. This Creality Dryer Box does exactly what it says without drama. Toss your rolls in, set the temp and time, and walk away. I don’t even touch filament fresh out of the packaging anymore—24 hours in the box first, minimum. Too many manufacturers (especially bargain-bin brands) ship filament wetter than a Florida summer. The box itself? Quiet, reliable, and you can feed filament straight into the printer while it’s cooking. Controls are idiot-proof, price is reasonable, and it works whether you’re a seasoned maker or still trying to remember which side of the bed-leveling knob to turn. Bottom line: If you don’t own a dryer box, you’re not printing—you’re gambling. And this one’s a solid bet.

Excellent Filament Dryer With Fast, Even Heating
I added the Creality Space Pi Filament Dryer to my 3D printing setup, and it has quickly become one of the most reliable tools on my bench. I print with PLA, PETG, and TPU regularly, and this dryer has made a noticeable difference in print consistency and surface quality. Build Quality & Design The unit feels solid and well‑engineered. The touchscreen is responsive, the interface is simple to navigate, and the chamber has plenty of room for standard spools without rubbing or binding. The overall design looks clean next to my printers and doesn’t take up unnecessary space. Heating Performance This is where the Space Pi really shines. The 360° PTC heating system distributes heat evenly across the entire spool, not just one side. It reaches temperature quickly and maintains it without big fluctuations. After a drying cycle, my filament feeds smoother and prints with fewer pops, bubbles, or stringing. For PETG and TPU especially, the improvement is obvious. Humidity & Drying Results While I don’t rely heavily on the built‑in humidity reading, the actual drying performance is excellent. Filament that used to give me inconsistent extrusion now prints cleanly after a few hours in this dryer. Even older spools that absorbed moisture revived nicely. The chamber seals well, and the heat stays consistent throughout the cycle. Daily Use It’s quiet, easy to load, and simple to operate. The timer and temperature controls are straightforward, and the unit doesn’t overheat or give off any odd smells. It’s a true “set it and forget it” tool that fits naturally into a 3D printing workflow. Pros - Strong, even heating across the entire spool - Noticeable improvement in print quality - Clean, compact design - Quiet operation - Easy to use with clear controls - Works well for PLA, PETG, TPU, and more Cons - Humidity reading isn’t perfectly accurate (common with most dryers) - No calibration option for the humidity sensor - Would love to see a slightly larger chamber for oversized spools Who This Is For Anyone who prints regularly and wants consistent results. If you live in a humid area or store filament in a garage or workshop, this dryer is absolutely worth adding to your setup. It’s especially helpful for PETG, TPU, and other moisture‑sensitive materials. Final Verdict The Space Pi dryer works great and has become a dependable part of my 3D printing workflow. Even with the humidity reading not being perfect, the actual drying performance is excellent. Highly recommended for anyone serious about print quality.

Good for the price, doesn't come with four PTFE lines.
Unit works great, does exactly what it says it would do, it is a bit noisy, but that's OK. It has two intake and two exhaust fans. But it doesn't come with four PTFE lines as advertised, only with two of them. The touchscreen feels a bit flimsy. It heats up fast and the humidity drops fast. Lots of presets to choose from.

Best Filament dryer bang for your buck
I recently got the Space Pi filament dryer, and it’s been a great addition to my 3D printing setup. It’s easy to use — just load the spool inside, set the temperature and timer, and let it run. The controls are simple and straightforward, and it started drying right away without any confusing setup. It does a great job pulling moisture out of filament. Prints with old spools that were popping and stringing came out way cleaner after a few hours in the dryer. It’s especially good for filaments like PETG, TPU, and Nylon that are super sensitive to humidity. One thing to note is that the internal spool holder is basic, but it works fine if you center the spool correctly. It’s also nice that you can print directly from the dryer if you want, though I personally still dry first, then move the spool to the printer. Overall, the Space Pi dryer is a solid, affordable way to fix moisture problems and keep filament in good shape. Definitely worth it if you live somewhere humid or just want more consistent prints.

Seems quality, heats well, Can is a little bit annoying
Other than the noise of the heater being a bit annoying at least I know it's doing something! It does get hot! It's early days but I'm quite impressed. Covered in protective cellophane it arrived today. It gets quite hot on the sides and lid and the humidy sensor seems to work. Heated my first roll of filament new out of the pack, humidity seems to drop over three hours. Quality of the lid is like a 70s stereo turntable. I'm pleased with the quality for the pric. Display is nice and clear. Heats up as described although unsure how accurate it is... It's certainly feeling about the right temperature. Glad I paid a bit extra for the brand named item as it gives me more faith in the product. Hopefully being an updated v2 version it's made a little better. I'll update here as I get more experience with the item but for now it does exactly what I wanted.

Funziona bene
