The old days back in 1960's was 60/40 tin/lead rosin core called for electronics. You new solder is liquid is 63/37 tin/lead. I had to look this up my self. I hope this helps you.

Is this used like typical coiled electronics solder, but with more control of where it goes? Just touch with iron to heat?

Yes and no. This is really made for soldering surface mount soldering with either a heat gun or a soldering iron. I wouldn’t recommend it for through hole soldering. However its great for surface mount.

What is the inner diameter of the dispensing tip?

I don't know the tips exact size, but it is very small and only dispenses a very small amount of material when used.

Pas pour les amateurs

La pâte est précise et fonctionne à merveille... ce n'est pas un produit pour débutant car si mal appliqué ou en trop grosse quantité, ça peut créé un court-circuit... pas assez, la soudure ne tiendra pas. Somme toute, excellent produit, je recommande.
