Second, the diferent operating modes are nice, but having to cycle through the remote is cumbersome. I like that the remote will let you change to any of the steady colors with one key; it would be nice to do that with the other patterns as well.I have a hybrid pool with an installed deck. I mount the light in the deep end using the suction cups. I will likely replace them with magnets since the walls of the pool are steel with a vinyl liner. I ran the power cable, which is plenty long for almost any application, under the deck to an outlet with GFCI protection.The remote reaches the unti underwater and from 15 feet away, which is nice.
