I recently installed this COB LED strip in my living space — overall, I’m very happy with how it performs. It gives a warm, cozy glow that works beautifully for ambient lighting (under cabinets, along shelves or behind furniture), and having the remote makes it really convenient to tailor the lighting to my mood. I’m expecting the lifespan of the LED strip light to be long-lasting, given the quality. ✅ What works great • Seamless dot‑free light: The COB design delivers a continuous, uniform line of light — no visible LED dots or hotspots, making it look smooth and modern. • Warm, cozy 3000 K tone: The warm‑white light is inviting and comfortable — perfect for relaxing spaces, bedrooms, or cozy corners. • Remote‑control convenience: It comes with an RF remote that allows easy brightness adjustment (from soft ambient glow to brighter light) — meaning you don’t have to get up and manually switch the lights. • Strong adhesive + easy install: The strip has a sticky backing for easy mount on smooth surfaces, and it’s flexible/cuttable if you need to customise its length for your space. • Good for ambience & mood lighting: The combination of warm colour, smooth light output, and remote‑controlled dimming makes it ideal for creating a cozy or relaxed atmosphere — under kitchen cabinets, behind furniture, or along shelves. ⚠️ What to watch out for / possible downsides • Limited to warm white only: The strip only offers a 3000 K warm‑white light — so if you want cooler light for tasks or neutral white for workspaces, this may feel a bit soft or mellow. • Not ideal as main room light for large spaces: As ambient/mood lighting it’s lovely — but for a large room or for bright task‑lighting, it may not be enough on its own. • Surface dependency for adhesive: Adhesive backing works best on clean, smooth, dry surfaces. On rough, dusty or greasy surfaces, adhesion might be less secure. • Indoor use only: It’s best suited for indoor spaces (e.g. living rooms, bedrooms, shelving, cabinets), not suitable for damp or outdoor areas without proper protection or waterproofing. 📝 Verdict If you want easy, plug‑and‑play ambient lighting that’s warm, cozy, and flexible — especially for smaller areas, under‑cabinet lighting, or mood lighting — the Luktix COB LED Strip 2 M 3000 K with its remote control is a really good buy. It’s not ideal as the main light source for large spaces, but for atmosphere, accent lighting, or soft background light, it’s highly effective and convenient.

I bought these to go under a radiator in my house as electricity is getting so expensive. I and my family were very impressed with the warm brightness of these strips. There is no flickering when on which is lovely. The remote control gives you a great selection of levels but the one we love the best is you can push a button and it gives you 30 seconds to finish what you are doing before you leave the room and then it switches itself off. Applying the strips was so easy as the stickiness of the glue is very strong so you do not get any lifting. I have had mine on for months now and the lifespan is as good as when I first bought them. The cables have a lovely colour range and I have also purchased extra ones for my mum and daughters house as these are so good. One other thing which I feel was important is that these are slightly higher price than others listed but it is because they come with the plug, which others sneakily don't. So you are able to put in place and turn on without any missing parts.

Really good quality leds , constant white light that can be remotely controlled ( dimmed ) and works with Alexa . Reasonable price, I purchased 3 sets of 5 mtrs & 3 sets of 2 mtrs for kitchen units. Well impressed. Have been installed for over 6 months and still sticking as on day of installation. Even on underside of work top beside the dishwasher where there is steam and heat.

Just set the light strip up so it runs up the side of the staircase. Looks great lit up. But you need to conceal it during the day as when off the light strip is an orange yellow colour. I’ll fit a trim/ dado rail just above to conceal it. All in all really pleased.

Lights were exactly what was advertised. Love the way the lights are a constant light and not individual lights like the ones I replaced. Easy to fit and connect

These self adhesive led lights are just excellent. Cut anywhere you can use them to decorate or mood light just about any use. Inside of course. I have used them on my Darts set up and they look amazing

I ordered this as it was exactly what I was looking for behind my mirror. However the product was faulty. It was only plugged in for five minutes and when my son went to remove the plug it was exceptionally hot to the point it burnt his hand and fingers. My husband used a cloth to remove. After ten to 15 minutes the plug was still lukewarm which should not be the case. I'd hate to think what would have happened if left unattended for longer periods of time.
