But i've lost two in the last 6 months because the latch didn't keep the lock fastened and it fell off somewhere along my route. When the first one fell off, I ordered the identical lock, but went ahead and replaced the holder, even though the first one was still in place and seemed functional. But the second lock fell off within a month, and I had never even removed it from the holder to use it in that time.I'm still debating whether to try again or replace it with a different brand or design.UPDATE: Seller reached out and offered a refund - I went ahead and replaced it with the same product. I've mounted this one horizontally on the bike instead of vertical so there will be less pressure on the latch, but this new one seems tighter with less play than the first one. Still love the design.In case you don't find instructions for your new lock, you just set the combination to 0000 (the default code) and open the lock. There's a ridged circular dial inside - just turn it about a quarter turn, change the numbers to something you'll remember, then turn the dial back to it's original setting. That's all that's needed to change the combination. Close the lock and spin the dials and it should be locked.
