CLIO Kill Cover Mesh Glow Cushion Foundation ([Refill Included] 15g*2, 24W SAND), Glass Skin, Long-Lasting, Lightweight, Buildable Coverage, Glowy Skin Makeup

I’ve been using this foundation for three years now. I absolutely love it. I have a dry-normal skin type, and I find that it has such a skin-like feeling and leaves a dewy finish. It can have medium to full coverage. I’ve never had any issues with it looking patchy or separating, and all my makeup goes on top of it nicely. I love wearing it for formal events, and it’s great for everyday use too. It doesn’t oxidize either, like some other foundations. It does have a slight sweet, sunscreeny smell. I don’t find it too bothering, I actually find it quite pleasant. The packaging is adorable, and I love the eco-friendly ability to refill it. The tear drop shaped cushion is super nice touch for blending tricky areas. I also love how it comes with an additional refill!

This is not the first lightweight cushion foundation I’ve had, but it is certainly the best one. It has surprisingly good coverage. It hides my dark circles and blemishes quite well, and it does so seamlessly. It doesn’t look or feel greasy either, which is a common issue with cushion foundations like this. I love it. I bought this because I have very sensitive & dry skin due to a medical condition, and other foundations are too drying and irritating for me. This foundation doesn’t dry my skin out and my skin texture looks very nice using it, which I’ve never really experienced before. You can use a powder with this but it’s unnecessary. It works just fine as a standalone base and it doesn’t smear. I love the formula. I have to admit that I hate the packaging, though. It might just be mine, but it is extremely difficult to open and close if I leave the refill container in. It’s actually very obnoxious and I’ve had to use tools to pry it open before, so I don’t bother to leave them connected anymore. I would and will be buying this again.

Coverage is nice and the shade I got which was Sand 23W was still a bit lighter than shown in the picture. But it still looked good after 8 hrs of wear. Consistency feels sticky though which is why I docked a star, but overall, good cushion. Probably would not repurchase though.

This is a beautiful foundation. I’m 49 with dry skin and some forehead wrinkles and this didn’t settle into them or crease at my smile lines at all. I’d say the coverage is medium but can be built up a bit where you want more coverage. I’m a fair redhead and the color match was perfect for me. It’s hard to find very fair foundations with a warm undertone. I love that it came with a refill which makes it an incredible buy. I barely powered my t-zone and used setting spray and it still looks good 12 hours later.

This cushion foundation is amazing! For reference I have dry mature skin that can get dry patches. If I do proper skin prep this foundation goes on smoothly and doesn’t look like I’m wearing foundation. The color is good too for my olive medium skin tone. The coverage is good without it looking like a mask or too heavy.

I’ve been using this clio cushion for over a year now, and it has been my go to for quick application and daily wear. I love the shade match, the lightweight wear, and the fact it doesn’t have any odd scents or textures. It applies quickly and doesn’t remain wet feeling on the face. Overall it looks beautiful on the skin immediately after application However, I’ve been struggling to maintain the longevity of this product. My skin type is oily, and unfortunately I’m starting to finally give in that this product may not be compatible with that. After about 3-4 hours of wear, I start to notice separation around my smile lines, chin, and the edges of my nose. Often its not severely noticeable, but don’t expect to laugh or smile much while wearing it if you face the same problems! The foundation does nothing to help reduce or contain oiliness. I’ve set it with several powders, tried changing up my skincare and primers. It just doesn’t like to set! I feel that this cushion is probably best for someone with little to no skincare concerns. If you are looking to cover large breakouts, this is light to medium coverage, so not the best for that. If you have oily or combo skin expect it to separate or cling to dry patches. If you have smooth, balanced skin with little to no blemishes, give this a try!

This runs little on a bit paler side which I liked, considering oxidation. The coverage is in the middle, which I liked too since I don’t enjoy cakey texture but still want that porcelain-like skin. Just like their name, it’s glowy but finishes kinda matte so if you have oily skin and want to try dewy makeup it’s a good option!
