I was about to either trade that bike in, or get entire new stock exhaust for my z900RS. This item, priced as it was, was a quality item, fixed the sound problem. Bike still sounds good, just little bit different tone, perhaps 5db less noise overall. Fixed my problem directly within a 5 min install. Looks good and works better than the 1200 exhaust this thing came with. Review: Good Muffler for the Price - This is an attractive muffler. I like the stainless steel look. The fit and finish is what you would expect from a product in this price range. As other reviewers have noted, expect some fiberglass packing pieces to escape from the ends. The sound is great, although I wasn’t fond of the included db killer. What I did was remove the stock db killer and replace it with an inlet db killer. The ones that are round with holes drilled in the sides.
