Review: Great edc option that won't break your wallet when you lose it - I accidentally purchased the Iridian Mini thinking it was the full-size version. After ordering the full size as well, I decided to keep this one too—and I’m glad I did. This is a solid, well-built knife for the money. It feels good in hand, carries easily, and fits the role of an everyday carry blade very well. The size is practical, the action is smooth, and overall build quality is impressive at this price point. My only real wish is that it were offered with a premium blade steel option like S35VN or MagnaCut. The current steel holds an edge reasonably well, but an upgraded steel would take this knife to another level. All in all, it’s a great little EDC knife with good value and quality. If you’re looking for a compact, dependable carry, this one is worth considering.
Review: Nice Little Knife - This is a nice little knife. Keep in mind, that it is small. It is smaller than it looks in photos. Think medium-sized Swiss army knife size in the hand. Kind of feels the same way, as it has some heft for its small size. Disappears in a hand or a pocket. Solid feeling. A thin, D2 Steel Blade, in a slicey, stabby shape. Decent steel, but will need a little care to prevent rust over time. Nice aluminum scales, and solid feeling hardware and crossbar type lock. The action is decent. Blade flips open and locks solid. Blade falls back freely when unlocked. Due to the small size vs my hand, it's a weird one-handed open. Best to flick with the back of my thumbnail for snappy action. It's a great looking knife. Kind of has a fancy, dressy look and feel. Due to the small size and the stylish appearance, I'd opt for going with some color to make it pop. I got the one that is a silvery-light blue, depending on the light reflection. The brass colored accents are a nice touch. Someone put thought into the style and appearance of this one. It's like art-deco meets industrial. What would you use it for???? A small, EDC knife. A dress knife. Something for the office, or for places where bringing a bigger blade would be inappropriate. Something for light-task type, everyday cutting here and there. For times, or people, who don't need or want to carry a bigger blade. Light fidgeting with small hands. James Bonding with just a light sprinkle of John Wicking. What would you not use it for???? Hard outdoor use, harsh conditions, salt and water exposure, battoning logs, gutting fish, Rambo movies, heavy/intense John Wicking without James Bonding. Overall a nice knife. I give it almost 5/5. I'd opt for your preferred colored scales, and the D2 steel will work nicely for what you would use it for. Pice compare its size to the Spyderco Caribbean, Bestech Swordfish, and Spyderco Tasman Salt.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Axis-style lock without the Benchmade cost
*by P***A on September 18, 2025*

I’m a big Benchmade fan. Their Axis lock system is super amazing—but so is the price. I love my Bugout, but another Benchmade just isn’t in the budget. I own a drawer full of other knives, including a Kershaw Leek that I really like for its simplicity and blade shape. But I wanted another Axis lock knife. When I started looking for an Axis-style lock alternative, a lot of folks on knife forums pointed to the Iridium, so I picked one up. It wasn't love at first sight. Too many screw holes and slots made the knife look busy, and I even started a return. But after a day of handling it, the mechanism began to sink in and feel right. The balance between blade and handle is just right for this type of lock, and once I got used to the action, it grew on me. The blade itself is solid tool steel, sharp, centered, and finished nicely. The shape works well for everyday tasks. My only ding is a slight flex, just a fraction of a millimeter, when pressing down on the spine with the blade fully deployed. It doesn’t affect performance, but the Bugout doesn’t have that issue. That’s probably the difference between a $50 knife and one that costs over $200. Overall, I think the Iridium is a solid buy. It’s a well-made, functional knife at a great price, and I’d recommend it without hesitation. Note: I like helping people decide if a product is worth buying. I use other people's reviews to guide my purchases, so I feel like I'm giving back. A 3-star review means the product is average. It performs as intended but doesn’t stand out compared to competitors. A 4-star review means you can buy with confidence. A 5-star review is rare and reserved only for products that are head and shoulders above the rest. I rarely review products I consider below par—unless they’re unsafe or falsely advertised.
