Berkeley Crossbody Bag | Adjustable Strap, Water-repellent Finish, Internal Divider & External Pocket

I don't know why I debated buying this for so long (several months). As soon as it arrived, I knew I made the right choice. Materials and quality overall are great. The zippers move smoothly and the pulls are nice and big. The interior size was what I needed, and the sewn in pocket in the large compartment is great for my wallet and keys. The strap extends long enough for me, a tall dude. And the smaller front pocket is perfect for my phone (quick access). Carries everything I need and still has room for more.

The size, comfort and quality of this bag is superior to another crossbody bag that I purchased on Amazon. The strap is very long and adjustable. This is important if wearing with a heavy jacket in cold weather. I was able to sit through a concert with this comfortably sitting on my lap with the strap over my shoulder, knowing that my wallet and phone were safe and secure. Got caught in the rain and everything stayed dry. Note that there is no side net holder for a water bottle but the bag is large enough to sit one in the main compartment. There is one pocket on the inside and a vertical zip pocket on the front side.

UPDATED REVIEW: see end of this one. I may have found the perfect sketchbook travel bag! I can fit a sketchbook, watercolors, pens, pencils, and a few other items in this awesome bag. Finally! I used to travel with ziplock bags and pencil cases, rubber bands, searching around in my carry on for the pen that rolls away in the airport. I’m so looking forward to traveling with this. It will fit in my carry on bag, I can grab it when I want to draw or paint whether I’m by the pool or on a plane, or wherever. ***So I got to take the bag on a 10 day cruise and really use it. I could not have been happier with it. Absolutely perfect! I’ll post a photo of what I carried in it but whether I was in our room, on a lounge chair by the pool or in an airport, I was able to get to what I wanted / needed to sketch or paint. Great size, great compartments, great price and 100% not dorky.

I wanted a cross body bag for them longest time but could never decide. When I see this Northface crossbody I fell in love with it bc of the material, it wasn’t leather so I knew it would be sturdy. This bag holds my full size coach wallet and iPhone 13 Pro Max with a jelly case and there’s still room, the front zippered pocket is perfect for hand sanitizer and lip gloss and the inside pocket is perfect for a small notepad, receipts, gum, etc. the bottom loop is perfect for hooking your keys when you’re in a rush or carrying a lot and want to be able to grab them easily. The double zipper makes it that much easier to close and know your stuff is secure. The strap is great bc it’s adjustable for cross body or just over one shoulder and is very long if you’re bundled up with layers. Of course black matches everything so that’s why I chose that color.

I love the size and construction of these bags I have several of them in different colors I also have matching Field Bags in those same colors and depending what I'm wearing and what I'm doing (casual stuff - which is 95% of my life) I pick and choose whether it's going to be a Berkeley Field Bag or a Berkeley Cross Body And then I choose the color Since I only have those two bag styles for every day things, the pockets and zippers are consistent, the strap lengths are consistent (adjustable) and I have no issues switching from bag to bag because I always know where each element is from keys to lip gloss to wallet to tablet and so on. My only complaint is the big ugly cheap white patch. North Face: do better I saw you have a line now where the patch is rubberized and matches the fabric color of the bag: do more of that but in a line that'll be around for a few years so I can switch over to something that better matches my aesthetic My work around is to remove the stitching of the white patch but this does leave a mark behind where we can see the patch was removed because the bag fabric underneath is slightly darker than the rest of the bag body

It is small. Bought this along with the large matching North Face Tote for the gym. This one is small, however, very well made, fits travel size toiletries and shower essentials. Has several compartments, adjustable strap. Great addition to my travel needs

I love this crossbody & I have quite a few different styles. But this one is awesome, the front pocket is lined with a velvety fabric so it keeps things protected in there (no scratching on the key fob). I also love the inner lined section because it perfectly fits my 8" ipad so I can take it on-the-go with me without it being in the way. I've even put it through the wash and it came out nice. Would probably buy again.
