Phifer 3030802 BetterVue Insect Screen, 36" x 25', Black

Used to replace numerous broken screens. Material is tough and gives a great contrasted view outside. I did a screen door and 8 windows without problem. Great value and great product.

I like the durability of the screen as well as the clarity when looking through the screen. I save the remaining screen because of the quality. I had no issue with any insects getting through the screen after installing. After years, the have been no rips/tears. Maybe its just me, but it seems like the screen also doesn't not attract/get coated in dust/dirt as much as other screens. I suggest this brand to others who need to replace their screens.

I have bought a few rolls of this replacement window screen to use for a few houses and for my business. Easy to install, easy to work with, durable, and looks great. I will continue to use this replacement screen whenever I need it.

Unhappy dog scratched through the old screen material on the sliding door, so had to replace. I do recommend buying a decent screen installation tool, with the wheel for "rolling" in the rubber retainer seal....and don't buy the cheapest tool...get a decent one. If you do the installation will go much better and you will have a reasonably tight screen after installation, without (too many) wrinkles. Then it is relatively easy to trim the excess with a blade or small sharp scissor. You can do it!

Definitely provides a better view but I gave it 3 stars because it rips very easily. Im afraid to install it on my front door screen because my dog jumps on the screen door to let me know when she’s ready to come in and I know it will likely rip the same day I install it. I placed it on the top of my back screen door window and it ripped after 3 weeks and my dog cannot jump that high. So it ripped just from opening and closing my door. I had to replace it. I’m now looking for a thicker screen on Amazon that’s a sturdier and just as easy to install for both my front and back screen doors. I feel like I wasted my money ☹️

I wasn't thrilled about black screening to replace my old, silver screen material. It turns out, the black hides much better than the silver, making less of an impact on the view. This stuff is great.

This screen was wonderful. 20 years ago I did some screen replacement work. I don’t remember the screen being so easy to work with. The ability to see through the screen is great, almost like it’s not even there.

Need a longer replacement screen than what was offered in the hardware store. This was long enough to do two 8 feet long door screens.

Great product, almost invisible to the eye!! It was perfect for my screened coverred porch.

The only complaint is that there was no stretch to it, so more staples were needed. Otherwise it was a good product and good value for the money.
