The fan doesn't turn on until you're stressing your computer, so the majority of the time, it's as if the thing is off. Doesn't bother me too much as I have mine shoved in a closet, but I can still hear the difference. I have 10 hard drives, a 4070 super, and a 5700x all connected to this. I run OpenMediaVault (which is debian 12) and have a windows 11 virtual machine powered on at all times and pull atbout 115 watts at idle... silent. Even when i play some games, I pull about 250 watts or so, and the PSU is still silent.
