Wanted a shorter and smaller canopy low cost umbrella and this umbrella is good for my needs, it will work for my upcoming trip. It appears to have a strong support shaft and upgraded springs and stronger enhanced metal ribs, but also the metal tips are exposed and possibly have less attachment thread than needed - it would be easy to repair if the threads broke loose. It seems like an upgraded and inexpensive umbrella. It's not automatic shut, it's click to collapse. The umbrella has to be fully clicked shut (using both hands) to engage the re-opening mechanism to get it to reopen again. If the umbrella is already open (in the rain) and the button on the handle is accidentally bumped, the umbrella collapses automatically, and both hands (and strength) are used to get the wet umbrella to shut all the way before it can re-open again. Design is easily accidentally triggered to collapse in the rain The case was made of fleece terry cloth and washed up nice and is big enough to easily use for the umbrella. Unpackaged with no odor, but the umbrella and case were rinsed to remove the invisible manufacturing dust.

I bought this excellent umbrella so my daughter could take it to school and protect herself from the rain or extreme sun. It is very easy to stow in her backpack; she takes it to school every day because it is lightweight and doesn't take up much space. It is very durable and sturdy, and it moves with the wind—it doesn't bend or break thanks to its excellent grip. I recommend it 100%.

Wanted to update my previous review. The umbrella is cute and lightweight as originally stated, but I gave it a bad review because of a couple of small holes. I was surprised that the seller, SY, reached out to me offering me a complete refund even though I was past return date. I said that I would prefer a replacement and they shipped one out immediately. The replacement umbrella does not have any holes and I will be using it happily. The wonderful customer service was unexpected and impressive. Way to go!

Over the past few months, this pocketsized umbrella has become my go-to companion for rainy commutes. Its 210T Pongee canopy repels water well and dries fast, and the compact size means it fits easily in a bag for travel. The canopy is smaller than a full-size umbrella and the mechanism can feel stiff at times, so its best suited for one person and may take a firm press to close. Lightweight normal size umbrella. Lovely compact case and great additional aun protection. So far its been wind proof and easy to open and close once opened initially. Good grip and handle is comfortable. I ordered black and its lovely.

Wenn man den schirm aufspannt sollte niemand vor einem stehen ,da er sich mit viel Druck aufspannt wenn man den Knopf drückt .Der Schirm macht aber einen guten Eindruck und sieht auch toll aus ,benutzt habe ich ihn aber noch nicht deswegen kann ich dazu noch nichts berichten .
