I had ring cameras all over my house before the criminals cut the feed to my wifi. Lesson learned. I moved and bought this for my apartment. Easy to install on my front door. Adhesive is great, that thing it ON THERE! I was thinking about putting it on the bedroom door as well. But the one is loud enough to scare off anyone. The chime is ok for people with different needs. I also like how turning it on doesn't trigger it, you know, like a smoke alarm. Be safe!

Decent product for the price. 1 out of the 4 did not work out of the package. It was missing the plastic battery tab you have to pull prior to use so maybe the batteries were just dead... Depending on the framing and direction your door opens some of them may have to be mounted differently i.e which part attaches to the stable surfaces vs the moving one. If your door has an edged frame at all, like the pic I attached of my front door, there is absolutely no way to make this work where the magnets will align. I tried every possible side and angle of the door; kind of a bummer that the front door is the one it won't work for, so I'll have to find a different type for that. Overall, the ones I did attach to the sliding doors work great. I was worried the single chime mode wouldn't be noticeable enough but now I almost wish there were a volume setting on it, it's loud! There will be no missing it, which is the point. I have 3 small kids and a couple dogs. My daughters room has a sliding door out to a deck that I always worry about her wandering onto at night (I put that one on alarm mode), and they like to go out and leave the front door open which is a huge worry given that I have 2 large dogs that are not dog-friendly and we live in a neighborhood where everyone's lets their pets wander around without leashes all day. Now I can better tell when the door is opened so I can make sure it gets closed! For the doors we use frequently I change it from chime to alarm mode at night, I really like that it's as easy as flicking a switch to go between them, huge bonus. Overall it's a good product, but only works with standard framing. I plan to order more for our windows soon.

I bought these just in case we needed them for my mother who is onset dementia. I just held on to them, didn't want her to think they were because of her so didn't want to put on till had to. Few months later, in middle of night she decided to get up and put the cat, food bowls and cat box(which is a chore to move) all out on lanai for no particular reason(he doesn't ever stay out there at night). As soon as my dad told me that, I went right over with the alarms. They only turn them on when they go to bed. They are LOUD! Luckily, they haven't been set off due to my mom, my dad has forgotten about them and set them off. It gives us all peace of mind that she isn't going to stroll outside in the middle of the night and us not possibly realizing it till hours later. Installation easy, if you do set off by mistake, just shut the door instead of trying to get turned off on the alarm. Did have to hang a couple upside down to get the magnetic strips to be side by side, but not a big deal, this was due to how the door frame on a couple of doors. Plus just totally a great, easy and cheap safty item to have no matter what.

I recently moved out on my own and I wanted to make sure that I felt safe. I was looking for a door chime to just ding to let me know if someone walked in. I planned to set it to alarm mode when I slept. I set it up today and put it on my door, I set just the normal chime mode. I opened the door and the sound was ear piercing, it was SO loud. The good news is that I would definitely hear it from upstairs. But the bad news is that it hurts my ears (and my dog’s) when I walk through the door. I think I have to return it.

These door chimes work.. too well. The 3M adhesive is great and will have no problem staying in place for months to come. The size is perfect, visible but small enough to not be an eye sore. I dropped the packaging while standing up and they all scattered across the floor, I was initially afraid I had messed them up from the fall but they’re thankfully 5’3” drop proof so they get the durable check of approval as well. They work as they should sounding off and alerting as the door opens. Their only downfall is they are extremely loud… exceedingly loud. Which would be great if u have a fairly large shop/office/store and need to be able to hear it from a distance. For use in my household where I just want to hear a chime incase my toddler some how manages to get the exterior doors open, it’s too loud for my liking. But I’ll definitely know if she tries to go outside unsupervised, and I’m sure my neighbors will be able to hear as well haha.

I bought these 4 years ago when my onery toddler figured out he could climb the bookcase next to the front door and unlock the door. And the only time my 2 year old did this, was when he was naked!! Yes, he thought it was so funny to shock our elderly neighbors! So this was a must have for me!! I did have to add a small board on my door to put the alarm on beings there was such a height difference due to my door frame. This was a super easy fix. After 4 years I have never had to replace the batteries and it still works like it's new!! I highly recommend!!

I am satisfied with a product. I have these alarms for almost a year and it's still in place and working well. Sound is not too loud. It is really easy to set up alarm. Batteries are really long lasting.

De momento todo va bien, espero que con el tiempo sigan igual. Las utilice en una casa a la que no voy mucho y me han llegado a abrir la ventanas, mas que nada para alejar a cualquier intruso con el tono de la alarma. Dejo un video con los 2 funcionamientos que cuenta el dispositivo.
