Works really well for my aquarium. The dual density helps catch both fine and larger debris, and the water stays crystal clear. Easy to cut to size and fits perfectly in my filter. Good value for the price—will buy again!

I mainly use this in my HOB filters. What I usually do is cut two pieces to the size I need when setting up the filter. The bottom layer stays in place long term so beneficial bacteria can establish there. When the top layer gets dirty, I simply replace that one piece and leave the bottom layer untouched. This pad is easy to cut and dense enough to catch debris well. The size of the sheet is also nice because one piece lasts a long time if you are cutting it for different filters. It’s not some ultra-premium filter media, but for everyday filtration it works perfectly fine and does exactly what I need. 5 stars.

Love this filter very much cause it highly effortlessly remove the small particles and debris, resulting in crystal-clear water. It's customizable because it can be cut to fit any filter type!

In my opinion this material filters my tanks much better than the little charcoal bags that came with the filters. The difference in water quality is noticeable. The manafacturer states that they are washable. I've washed mine once and reused it, and it's still working well. But washing it began to fray some of the layers so I doubt I'll be able to use each piece more than two or three times.

My main reason for purchase is its more cost effective for me to buy in bulk to cut to size my own filter for multiple tanks needing different sizes. Plus it last longer that way. The filter works and I would say you could reuse a time or two depending on how heavily used it is when you use it, meaning how dirty it gets between cleaning it or how fast your filter gets dirty.

This works really well. I have a aquarium with 6 smaller sized fish and this filter floss does the trick. It is easy to use and you get a huge amount for the money.

Picture is deceiving. Material is thin. Waste of money

It works but can clog up quickly if you have live plants and like to move them around from time to time. It is a great tool when needed.
