Comunque ammetto che fin qui l'assistenza, situata dall'altra parte del mondo, si è dimostrata di gran lunga più ricettiva di tante ditte di assistenza che stanno in Italia. *** *** AGGIORNAMENTO 1: purtroppo devo rivedere il mio giudizio al ribasso, spero solo temporaneamente, perché dopo neanche una decina di giorni dall'acquisto e pur avendo tenuto l'articolo col massimo della cura, la cerniera di destra è diventata traballante e di conseguenza, quando la apro, fa leva sotto la tastiera, aprendo la stessa da quel lato. Ho contattato l'azienda per avere assistenza, visto anche il prezzo del dispositivo. Le unità difettose possono capitare a tutti, ma è dall'assistenza che si vede una grande azienda, e quindi mi auguro che la faccenda si risolva al meglio e che possa rivedere al rialzo questa recensione presto. *** Devo essere sincero: se la solita Samsung, per motivi ignoti, non avesse fatto sparire dalla circolazione la combo "tastiera italiana + touchpad originale" (EF-DX715BBEGIT) per S9 FE, avrei finito con l'acquistare quest'ultima, ma in questo modo non avrei potuto rendermi conto della qualità del presente articolo e ciò sarebbe stato un peccato. Davvero, nonostante il prezzo non irrisorio, non sono affatto pentito dell'acquisto di questo prodotto. I motivi sono diversi, ma già soltanto al tocco ci si rende facilmente conto della qualità dei materiali. Tecnicamente, non manca nulla: dalla tastiera con layout italiano retroilluminabile con diversi colori, al touchpad con pulsanti, dalla scanalatura magnetica in cui riporre la S-Pen, alla ricarica con USB-C. Tuttavia a dare maggior soddisfazione non è tanto la presenza di queste caratteristiche, quanto la loro stessa qualità. Sulla tastiera ci sono funzioni di controllo (multimediali, di regolazione di luminosità dello schermo e dei tasti, tasto Dex, ecc.) da attivare con il tasto Fn come sulle tastiere dei portatili più recenti. Non solo, ma la reattività è sorprendente: niente ritardi, niente pressioni ripetute. Non si dia ciò per scontato: ho già usato dispositivi simili e credetemi, trovare un prodotto senza questi problemi è come fare un terno al lotto. Inoltre il touchpad è preciso e supporta il tap, lo scorrimento in due direzioni ed i gesti comuni a due e tre dita. Usato in combinazione al sottovalutatissimo Dex, sembra di stare usando un portatile con cui poter svolgere le attività più comuni. L'unico limite del prodotto, a mio avviso, è il fatto che non si alimenta utilizzando i contatti elettrici al lato del tablet, ma possiede piuttosto una batteria interna da ricaricare a parte con presa USB-C in ben 3.5 ore, un po' tante. Inoltre, il produttore avrebbe potuto ovviare al problema fornendo un cavo sdoppiato con cui alimentare sia il tablet che la tastiera contemporaneamente; invece il cavo incluso è un semplice USB-A/USB-C.
