**Q: Description says they are leather but they are not.  Extraordinary.  Am I the only one who finds this unacceptable?**
A: i have worn mine for quite a while and they are robust and good in wet condition and don't slip.   however, i hadn't realized they were described as leather and if they were it is not only unacceptable but I suspect against trading standards rules.

**Q: Are these any good for the beach ?**
A: Yes, but as they are made of leather and are a robust walking shoe rather than a flip flop they are really too good for the beach and would be ruined by salt water

**Q: Are cat giles sandals accurate for size**
A: Just adjust the two straps. How accurate do you wants sandals?

Perfect in everyway. They fit perfectly, are very comfortable, they have a nice design as they do not look huge on your feet, love them. They are also very well made, sturdy and fully adjustable. They should last for years.

The sandals are quite stiff when first wearing them, I use them as slippers in the house so wear them most of the day, every day. It took three full days before I realised I wasn't conscious of them anymore so I'm taking that to mean I've adapted and they've broken in a bit.I've had them for a couple of weeks now and they seem to be well made and sturdy. My feet are warm despite it being winter and I'm really pleased with them.I bought these to replace my last pair of Clarks sandals which I'd had for about 15 years, this pair were half the price of a new pair of Clarks sandals and feel just as sturdy.

I usually buy Clarks sandals but the last pair was not as comfortable as I usually find them so I took a punt on these. They are quite wide fitting but there is plenty of room in the straps to draw them in to fit a slim foot like mine. Comfortable to wear and not too heavy. I ordered a size 10 and it fits just right.
