When you carry everything on your back, ounces count big time. Once you've reached your destination or on a day off, it's great to have a lighter smaller pack for hitting the town or markets. This 5 ounce ZOMAKE Lightweight Hiking Backpack will excel at that.It packs down to about the size of your hand 5"X7"X1", and again its only 5 ounces.At that weight it's still very strong, I gave all the straps and seams a good tug, they'll handle a load.Once unfolded from the built-in storage pouch the pack measures about 15" tall, 12" wide and 5" deep.It is a little small compared to some day packs, but its' 14 liter capacity should be fine for day trips.There are water bottle pouches on each side,and a zippered 5"X7" pocket on the back. Since I’m a hiker and have many sizes of backpacks she didn’t want any of them due to weight and size.Since the material is so light weight, would not recommend using it to hike in nature, I was concerned about durability however it has held up in tourists areas without a problem.The only issue she has is there is no place to hang something off of the pack.
