This lid does fit snug and IT IS spill-proof! (That's the first thing I tried when I got it). I filled up my mug with ice water and turned it upside down for 30 seconds and the lid held snug. Yaaah! The only knock on this lid is sometimes it's hard to get off. I found out later that if you pop the tab when opening and closing, it goes on easier than to have it snapped closed. Overall, it works well and I love the different colors it comes in. Save yourself some money and buy an Ozark mug also, you'll save a good $20 instead of buying the Yeti and they cool just the same. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does not fit New Design RTIC 30 oz glasses *by N***S on Reviewed in the United States on October 23, 2017* RTIC has recently redesigned their 30 oz glass. The top of the glass is a slightly larger diameter. The lid is too small. I already went through this with a lid from another manufacturer.Although, this lid does fit my older style 30 oz RTIC glass perfectly. But I have had my glass for over a year and it is the old design that resembles (identical) the original Yeti 30 oz glasses.
