Blue Danube Fine Flavoured, Ground Beans, Medium Roast, 100% Arabica Specialty Coffee, 250g Signature Nomad Collection, Gift Box

Perhaps my expectations were too high after looking at the tin, but the flavor of the coffee is - okay. It's not particularly strong but the drink isn't very smooth. If there are subtle flavors they don't quite stand out over the bitterness. It does have decent fragrance and I don't detect anything suspicious in that department, which is always nice (and not always true for coffee bought online). I'd say it's overpriced for what it is.

First off, the aroma and flavor of this coffee is great. I had a difficult time choosing between the various flavors and varieties, and ended up choosing the Blue Danube, which says it has notes of milk chocolate and forest berries. I definitely get both flavors and aromas with the cup of coffee. I like to drink my coffee black, but this would also be delicious with cream. The packaging is so beautiful, you can put it out on the counter and it is just gorgeous. I love the box! The clasp on it is even pretty. The one drawback is that it is sealed inside with a plastic tray over the coffee. Mine came loose (it is held in place with small stickers which all came loose), and when I opened the top coffee was everywhere inside of the lid and it was difficult to get it back into the container without spilling. At the high cost of this 8 ounce container of coffee, it was disheartening that I lost even a little bit. Overall, the flavor and aroma of this coffee is fantastic. I feel as if I'm on vacation with every sip.
