I have a soft sided pool from costco, I was always fighting keeping the water clear. I bought a chlorinator and put one of these in it.. the water stays completely clear. this is the second season using it and I am a believer!!

I had my doubts at 1st. I have a 15’x4’ above ground pool. I been fighting algae for weeks and spending a lot of money . A friend of mine told me about this Pool RX and how it REALLY WORKS ! My pool was so green I couldn’t see the bottom. I ran it for 24 hrs.,straight and SHAZAM !!! “ CRYSTAL CLEAR WATER”. Long as I own a pool this is a for sure cure for algae . We’ve been Pool Rx users for about two years now and won’t use our pool without it. While other people have issues fighting algae, Pool Rx keeps our water crystal clean and we’ve never had any algae on our pool. I recommend it to every pool owner I know!

We've had pools for 5 years and this year(2025) has been the easiest for chemicals and cleaning with PoolRx. I was hopeful it would help as we have struggled with algae in the Texas heat. This has surpassed my expectation. The water is clear and clean for the past month with minimal chlorine - 1 regular chlorine tab a week for our 6,000 gallons. The Orange/white plastic ball sits in the skimmer, so easy to use. I did follow the directions and ran the sand filter on recirculate for awhile first, and then have been filtering/backwashing/rinsing as normal. Time will tell how long it lasts but based on others reviews it should last the season. I think it is worth what I paid for it, around $50. I would have already bought that much chlorine shock based on last year. I will try to update at the end of the season with thoughts. Update: back to buy another for this year 2026 pool season, we drained and refilled so need a new one. it worked great and we used way less chlorine than previous years!

The pool Rx in the black box is the best! This one has not worked the same. Water seems to have skim over it. Water was Crystal clear for one day.

Make sure you get right gallon amount. My pool is little over 5k but I decided to go up a size. This lets out a powder colored chemical at first. Too much of it will cause bubbly water and make filter gross.

La mejor decisión que puedes hacer si tienes problemas en tu piscina es comprar el POOL RX .. yo me estaba dando por vencida le hacía de todo y nada funcionaba hasta que compré el pool rx y al principio no miraba mucho el cambio pero ahorita tiene 2 semanas y el agua está súper cristalina lo recomiendo mucho !!
