Is this device safe to use with babies under the age of one? Thanks** A: I've only used it once my kids were about 6 months old and able to roll by themselves. The way it is designed makes it incredibly safe, I'm my opinion. Of course use your own discretion. **Q: Does this product contain any flame retardants?** A: No, the tag says 100% organic cotton. **Q: What makes it watwrproof? I have a cotton waterproof-backed pad right now and it seems to make me uncomfortably hot and bunches...** A: It is not waterproof, but thick enough that if baby has a small to medium sized accident you aren't going to have to change the sheets underneath. It breathes well, we don't get too hot and it doesn't have a tendency to bunch. **Q: How does the sheet not get bunched up? Is it made of thick fabric? When you turn at night, doesn't the sheet get bunchy?** A: It's not really a sheet but is a heavier canvas. It doesn't bunch during the night but in the morning when (if) I make the bed, I straighten it a bit. I really would recommend this product. We have had our five year old between us in bed since he was born so he was always safe. When we had a second baby I got this so that the baby could be between the roll and me.
