Love it!
Well I’m impressed! I’ve been using this little powerhouse for a couple of months now and I’m truly impressed. It may be small, but it does a remarkable job. I’ve been using this in my bedroom because I have a very large wall but didn’t want to bring in a whole tv. It’s light weight, has an easy to use UI, it’s easy to set up, and has GREAT picture. At first, I was frustrated because I was trying to cast from my iPhone using some of the streaming services I have and it wouldn’t do it at all. Then I did a little research and found that because of copyright protocols it’s not allowed. I did, however find out that if I were to hook up either an Apple TV or a Fire TV Stick, it worked!!! I can watch live TV or whatever I wanted. Frustration gone. I’ve used it in daylight AND ambient lighting and, of course, it works much better in dimmer light. But it still works great! Granted, it’s not a TV. The picture quality isn’t as good as what I see on my TV, but it has a really good picture. The battery life on it is about 2.5 hours for me watching continuously. But that’s kind of moot because I’m using it in my bedroom and keep it plugged in. I would imagine that it would be great when camping! I would use a power bank with it, just to make sure it would last. The cons of using this is that I have to continually focus the picture until the unit warms up. I’ll focus it on startup and then will have to refocus it as the unit heats up. But after about 30 minutes or so, it’s stays in focus. As far as the onboard speaker, I think it’s okay if that’s the only thing you had to use, but I have a Bluetooth speaker connected and it works just fine. Now as far as volume, even when I’m using the Fire TV Stick, you have to use the projector remote to control the volume. And while I’m on the subject of remote control, it almost has to be used “line-of-sight,” AND it won’t power the unit on – it has to be powered on manually. But with that being said, it’s really just a very minor inconvenience. Overall, I think this is a great little projector and would be great on camping trips, the kid’s room, or the office where space might be limited. I would recommend this to anyone who would like a compact projector.

Super versatile compact projector
I cannot say enough good things about TMY projectors. They are my go to brand, anytime anyone asks for recommendation I send them their storefront link. They are in extremely affordable projector company. This little pocket projector was definitely worth the money other battery powered ones that I have seen people use. Don’t really have very good picture quality or battery life but this one did last the full three hours. I feel like the clarity is very good for a short throw projector. The speaker is not extremely loud but it very easily hooks up to Bluetooth devices. I had no problem connecting my AirPods to it, but I did have a little trouble pairing my cheap Walmart speaker to it. (I don’t think that’s on the projector. I think it’s on the speaker. I haven’t had luck pairing that to anything other than my phone and I can’t get it to other devices.) The screen mirroring function on this works awesome. We were able to watch videos on YouTube while camping and it’s a fun way to share photos with family and friends. With that being said, it’s important to note that even with screen mirroring, you will not be able to directly access apps like Disney+ Hulu Netflix because of their copyrights. In order to use those apps you would have to have a streaming device such as Apple TV, Amazon, fire stick, Roku stick, etc. So keep that in mind if you wanted to use this remotely away from Wi-Fi. You can very easily plug-in a Amazon fire stick or Roku stick and use the USB slot on the projector as the power source and use your phone as a hotspot, but it will use up the battery on the projector more quickly. Also, the HDMI slot and the USB slot are on the back of the device so if you want to project it on the ceiling like I did I just took two books and put it in between so the cords could go between.

Overpriced, Poor Resolution
I got this last night, the only thing I like about it is that you can use a USB C to charge it. The unit I got has problems playing media from my USB drive (the same thumb drive works on my other pocket projector).

This is too much fun!
This little thing is a game-changer. I've been using it for a few days now and I'm still just blown away by how powerful this little device is. Having battery power means no more wires, which also means many fun possible uses. It's got every modern convenience for playing media, be it wireless screen sharing with Android/Apple devices, media on a USB stick, or old fashioned HDMI input. I've tried them all and they all work great. I prefer playing movies from the USB so I don't even have to bother with a phone. The image quality is extremely good, and I'm not even sure how they accomplish the brightness emitted from this little machine. The throw is short, so the projected image is fairly large without needing to be far away. The attached image shows an old-fashioned pull down projector screen in a bedroom with ambient light coming in through the window. The brightness is plenty strong for a good picture about 55" diagonal. Obviously it's best with a darkened room, but it's powerful enough to work even with low ambient light. I'm only standing about 6 feet back to get the image this big. The banana is for scale, and you can see just how impressively small it is. Even the USB stick looks so big in comparison. Keep in mind the native output on this is 360P, even though it supports playing media with higher resolution. But the image quality is so good, and the machine so extremely portable, that I will chose this device over all others for most occasions. I've already got ideas for Halloween, I just need a few more LOL! The only minor downside is the low output level of the built-in speaker. It would have to be a very quiet environment to watch a movie with it. But it doesn't matter because you can easily sync up some portable speakers using the Bluetooth connection and have theater quality sound ready to roll. I feel like I'm in Star Wars when I'm using this mini projector. The future is now!

Great camping gadget
This does work well and very small.. got myself a tripod for it needed to add a small slip of card stock between them to sturdy it up. For the price I don't regret the purchase... But I want to be honest on here if you have a Bluetooth speaker also this will meet your needs... If you don't the speaker in this is very small which in hindsight I should have known that given it's size... So not upset but I do need to keep the tripod, HDMI cable, and Bluetooth speaker together to consider this a proper set up. I'm not sure if they could wedge a speaker in this thing even if they increased the size 20% because it's so light it would probably vibrate and blur the image... So I won't pretend I have a solution. But even all though things together is about the size of 2 coke cans... When I'm camping and pull it out people are like "wait... what? We have a 50" screen?" I just throw the image on my hammock tarp... On the outside on good days... On the inside on the rainy ones... I don't use it as often on the good days on rainy days it's amazing to help make it tolerable.

Super compact!
I needed to give a presentation on a business trip, so I ordered this projector because it was small and easy to pack for air travel. It's tiny and perfect for this. Since it can hold a charge for a few hours or be powered by a power bank, it cuts down on the bundle of cables I would have had to bring on my flight with my last-generation projector. No bulky power bricks required. It has a simple interface and is bright enough for a presentation. I'm glad I upgraded!
