Philips WeatherVision LED car headlight bulb (H4/H19), ultra-compact direct-fit, Halogen color match, easy install, LED performance, 3500K, set of 2

Just now received this Philips Ultinon H8 20W cool white LED and self replaced old 35 W Halogen bulbs for DRL (Angel Eye) in my 2011 BMW X1. Just two minutes it took to replace. Perfect fit, perfect bright light in socket ring, and cool honey yellow colour in outer ring. So far no error message/light on dashboard even after three times restarting the car. Overall fantastic product for BMW DRL. No complexity of polarity, no canbus requirement. A straightforward plug and play bulb! Anyways I need to wait for few days to check the performance.

Its a very good quality automotive OEM grade LED light .Pros :* 3500kelvin colour temperature is exactly like Halogen light output.* 25-30% brighter than standard 35w philips halogen filament lamps that comes stock in few cars.* The wattage is 20W per LED. So its easy on car wiring and fuse.* Compact size , so fitment is easy and direct and dont need much space . The cooling fan is very small to be noticed.Cons :* Its Not CAN compatible.. Meaning the car may throw fog lamp warnings on your dashboard due to less current usage. If you use VW/Skoda cars these warnings can be disable with help of obd tools.* It is not for someone who want high bright light output and white colour.I am using it in VW Taigun Topline variant . Satisfied with the output spread of light.

The LED perfectly fits on the 2025 Kia Seltos model. The dust cap also fits without any issues.

Writing this review after 7months of use. The bulbs didn't last and warranty claim is a head ache, would think twice before purchasing this product, also it was installed properly and within the specified wattage limts etc still stopped working within 7months that too of very less usages

I have used on the lower beam of my pulser 220f. Good thing about this bulb is that it has same size as H7 halogen lamp and it fits well on the pulser 220f doom, Obviously its a better solution then Bajaj stock H7 lamp.but as per price I am not very impressed with the brightness of this light. ₹5000 for 2 bulb is too much.

This is perhaps the onlyFANLESSACTUALLY WARM yellow 3500KWithout a connector box1:1 sizeExact fitLed bulb available.It fitted my S cross reflector headlight very well. Since it is a direct fit with no connector box just like a halogen, there is no change required for the dust cap. It fits perfectly. Remember to align the led at 3-9’o clock position as shown in the pic.The photos show the throw of the halogen bulb and then the led. Notice the large hotspot of the beam pattern. No scattering. The throw is better than the halogen. Though the brightness is a bit less compared to other LED s but then we are using it in a reflector based set up. The halogen like colour with minimal scattering and glare alongside focussed throw just like a halogen is just brilliant. No issues with packing and closing of dust cap and due to colour no problem regarding challan. I will rate it as an excellent buy.The pic with working led inside the headlight was a bit tricky to catch but seeing the led in action just shows the amount of engineering and thought that has gone into the making of this product.

This is an innovative product from Philips. It seeks to replace the OEM Halogen lamp with an LED without tampering with wires or installing additional power devices. A Halogen headlamp is not strictly designed for an LED, so there are a few limitations, but Philips has ensured that you are very happy. Use of these bulbs leads to a quantum improvement in the light output, and you also save a lot of energy. I thought that the downside is the bulb life at 1500 hrs, which is good enough to easily serve for several years. I believe automotive bulbs do have a shorter life, which, for this bulb, is lower in comparison to a Halogen stock bulb. Energy consumption at 40W for a pair compared to 110W for a Halogen with far better output is a game-changer. I rewrote the review and upgraded from 4 to 5 stars to share my immense satisfaction. Go for it after matching holder specs, etc. You may need professional help to fit it, as most cars do not provide easy access to the headlamps. Once you get used to the light, you are going to love it. You may rarely use the high beam, as the low beam itself is excellent. Immense improvement in night driving, especially on dark and poorly lit roads.

雨雪で見やすいハロゲンと同じ色でぱっと見ハイパワーハロゲンバルブと同じ色、光量で明るく尚且つ省電力(20w)期待寿命は1500時間との事(2年保証)簡単にポン付けでき、光軸、カットラインなど問題ない。爆光を期待しては駄目、公称ハロゲンバルブ比光量130パーセントで付け替えた感じ、明るさはハイパワーハロゲンバルブのソレです寿命が純正バルブ1000時間に対しハイパワーハロゲンが800時間程度ですが、このLEDバルブは寿命1500時間、かつ省電力でバッテリー負荷軽減ここに5000円強払う価値があると思えるなら買いです。あとはパッシングがキレッキレになるのが良いかな写真のバルブ根元スリットにチラッと見える金色がヒートパイプのようで、LED基板の熱を根元のファンまで移動させ冷却する構造で今までのLEDバルブのように、ライトの後ろ側にファンが飛び出す構造では無いが、冷却出来ている様子。

This matches the dimensions of the old halogen H4 perfectly.Process was simple. Just take out the old halogen bulb and put the new LED in the same spot. Nothing extra.The brightness feels almost the same as the 60/55W Halogen, but the cooler colour temperature makes it feel brighter.I was replacing to LED for longevity and less power consumption anyway.The light spread pattern seems more or less the same.I will see how long the LED last.

HIR2ハロゲンのプロジェクターヘッドライトに換装した。6000Kなどの高色温度品のように目に沁みることもなく、ハロゲンより明るくなり、ナイトドライブのストレスが減った。光に青み成分が少ないので雨の日も快適である。カットラインはキレイに出たが、照射範囲に放射状の明暗が出た。検品済みシールを一度カットした封緘シールの上から貼ったものが届いた。メーカー検品？販社検品？開封返品再販か？商品自体には満足だが、もう在庫がないみたいなので交換はしてもらえそうにない。2年保証はどうなるか不安を感じながら使用中。点灯しなくなる頃に電球色LED商品がもっと増えて欲しい。
