Easy to install and reasonably priced
Why did you choose this product over others?:I chose this product because it had a 4 star rating and thousands of reviews. When it arrived I was a bit sceptical, the netting seemed very flimsy and the tape width seemed a bit thin. But it was so cheap, and I really did need to have a window open overnight in this weather, I decided to give it a go. I decided to iron the netting on a low heat setting first off, to get rid of creases caused by it being folded inside the packaging. It instantly looked better after that.I then measured it and cut it to size with sharp scissors. I wiped down the window frame where the tape would go and dried it thoroughly. Then I cut the tape to size and secured it, gently at first, but once in place, I used the plastic end of a screw driver to run along the tape, applying a bit of pressure, so that the tape would stick more firmly. It was then easy enough to fit the netting in the window with it held in place by the velcro type tape. I managed to get the netting nice and taut across the window. It looks great! So glad I ironed it first! And the netting is easy peel away from the velcro in the instance of wanting access to the window for adjusting how open or closed you want it.I am so impressed, I’ve ordered more for another window. I chose the white netting and you can hardly see it. It took about 45 mins to do the whole job on a window 29x28 inches. But it was worth taking my time and doing it properly. Now I can leave that window open and not worry about insects flying in. Hoorah! 😃

Net had big holes
It's cheap so don't expect much from it. It will last one summer season and needs to be replaced as the velcro will come off. The previous one I had the net had much smaller holes, this one can definitely let the smaller creepy crawlies in.

Worth the money
My windows open inward so needed something that would last. Having tried a cheaper version and found it hanging off, flapping in the wind after less than a month, this one is much better quality and easier to install. The adhesive hook strips haven’t come away and the mesh hasn’t frayed or come loose after being there all summer.

Not good enough
The quality of the net itself is OK, but the tape is too ineffective. With the wind it all came off within minutes, and I had to put some normal tape around it. It's not holding too well, so I don't know until when it will stay. I wouldn't buy again.

Great solution making you happier keeping windows open!
I've bought this for all of my windows. It works very well in reducing dramatically the volume of flies, wasps, etc. that enter my flat. It's very, very easy to cut the netting to the size you want and then place the (supplied) hook and loop tape around the perimeter of the windows. The only issue is that the tape can come away over time from the window surround, but it isn't a big deal to just replace those bits. I'm so glad I bought this - it's a highly economical solution to not wanting uninvited visitors coming into your property!

These work great
I've had two packs of these covering three windows up for four years now. They've withstood stormy weather on days when I forgot to close the windows.I live next to a large area of woodland and the letting agency has installed a large security light on the side of the building that stays on all night. This attracts all kind of strange and annoying insects from the woodland, and my flat was getting invaded every night if I left my windows open. These nets put a stop to that. The mesh is very fine, soft, and flexible. Only insects that are barely big enough to see can get through it. I've had no problems with the adhesive - like I said these have withstood four years of use including stormy weather. The only downside to this product is that it's really designed for European windows than open inwards, whereas most British windows open outwards. It is possible to cut the mesh in such a way that it has enough slack for you to be able to reach out and grab the window's handle. You don't want to install this tightly if you want to shut the window. The mesh is delicate so will degrade quickly if you keep peeling it off the adhesive to open a window. After four years the mesh has collected a lot of dust, leaves, webs, and dead spiders. I'm now happily ordering replacements knowing they'll be good for another four years.

Useful but fell apart easily
This was easy enough to install. Easily stretches across the window and catches to the tape to install, and easily cuts down to size. I would say go slightly bigger than your window if you are unsure in sizing. I bought it as I wanted an extra layer to stop my indoor cat escaping but I wouldn't trust just this to contain a cat. Mine at least seems stupid enough to not try and get through it.I was taking the netting off and on quite regularly to get at the window and open/close it as needed. The tape around the window peeled off really easily after a view uses. This was despite cleaning the frame and leaving it to dry beforehand. Tape could do with being stronger.

Works well
This item arrived quickly. In the box you get the mesh and a roll of velcro. 4 step instructions on the box. You'll need a wipe or cloth to clean the velcro surface, scissors to cut the velcro and mesh to size (don't cut mesh too early).Velcro sticks well, mesh sticks to the velcro. Easy to set up, good wind/breeze passing through the mesh, fine enough to keep small bugs out. Not yet tested against dust and very tiny creepy crawlies, but so far so good. I'll recommend it.
