A wonderful read
I loved the cover of the book and equally loved the idea of the words being alive. I was captivated by the blurb. This book has such a unique concept that I couldn’t help but pick up the book. I admire the author’s imagination and her intellectual manner of connecting thought provoking reality into fantasy. Payal’s writing style makes this book an easy read and keeps you hooked till the end. The effect of reading still kept lingering in my mind even after completing the book. At first, the first few chapters had me confused. It took me sometime to understand the flow of the story and the happenings of it. When the story picked up the flow, it was easy for me to get the hang of it. The plot is unique, simple with wonderful word-building. Towards the end, the content added more depth to the story. I really had an interesting time reading the book. The whole book was gripping and thought-provoking. The way words bloom on an existence of their own and give the story an amusing, otherworldly feel is among the most inventive features of the book. Woebegone is a fantastic illustration of the author's creativity. This book is a highly recommended read for all those who love dystopian fiction

This book is a treasure as a work of art and its amazing content. I am grateful for the recommendation of this book from a friend. Payal storytelling and her amazing ability to create a picture in the reader’s mind elevate her as one of our great authors today. I was also drawn to how topical the book is for today’s environment. It seems today we are pushed to words that divide us as a society and not to those words that unite us. I love the characters and the flow of the story….Amazing. Do yourself a favor and buy this book!!!!
