I had to get a 3.5mm adapter as my new phone is the first I've ever had without a headphone port. My opinions on smartphone design aside, this accessory has been great - it's super easy to keep on you thanks to the design, and I don't have to sacrifice charging to be able to plug my earphones in. Sound quality is as good as I'd expect, though there's a slight hiss in my right ear when everything is silent, but it's barely audible. Overall this has been a good buy.

​I bought this adapter so I could listen to audio with a cable while charging, and it has worked exactly as expected. The sound quality is clear, charging stays fast, and the wire controls on my headphones work without any issues. ​What really sets this adapter apart for me is the thoughtful design aspects. The hidden cord design lets it plug back into itself like a little padlock. It keeps it super compact and completely prevents cables from tangling in my bag or pocket. And the 90-degree angled USB-C connector sits flat against the bottom of my phone. It’s much more comfortable to hold while using the phone and drastically reduces strain on the port, so I'm far less worried about accidental damage. ​It feels durable, the connection is solid, and the compact shape makes it an absolute breeze to take anywhere. Highly recommended if you need a reliable aux adapter with pass-through charging!

Does the job, but gets hot while charging

I have a Samsung S22 and bought this adaptor because the handset doesn't have 3.5mm jack point. I don't need this for headphones, I need it for use in my car. On longer car journeys I would use the navigation app on the phone, which needed a power input, and connect the audio output to my car's audio system. As there is no longer a 3.5mm jack point I thought this little adaptor would do the job but I was wrong. When the adaptor is connected, the fast charger works fine but the audio connection does not. An internet search advised that I needed to change some settings on my handset, which I found, but were disabled and couldn't be changed. So, cute little adaptor that doesn't work.

Have had this just over 24 hours now and am pleased with the purchase. It seems very well made, almost over-engineered which isn’t a bad thing, it gives you confidence in it. I’m using it in conjunction with the SoundMagic E11C earphones and am loving the performance, this adaptor doesn’t seem to effect performance at all, in fact on first using it I had to crank the volume down a bit, the SoundMagic’s don’t need to be pushed hard. Just one WORD OF CAUTION, this adapter when in use (folds into a padlock esque shape when not I use) is L-shaped when fixed into the charging port with a short length of cable and the headphone port attached, this MIGHT mean that it’s incompatible with SOME PHONE CASES, I found this out the hard way, my case has two eyelets one on each corner that actually protrude/stick out from the case (as opposed to being flush), as a result if you try and insert this adaptor they get in the way. Summary then, very good BUT if you need to use it on a phone in a case it needs to be level from corner to corner with no protrusions 😊

While I prefer the higher quality sound and longer battery life of a separate mp3 player for music on the go, I do often end up using headphones with my phone in order to listen to the wonderful content available on the BBC Sounds App when travelling. Sadly the manufacturers of smart phones seem to think we're all drones who have fallen in line with lower sound quality and battery-draining, environmentally wasteful, Blutooth headphones, and stopped putting 3.5mm jack sockets on handsets. I therefore needed an adaptor to use wired headphones with the USB socket on my phone. This does the job superbly. As a bonus, this particular tool can allow the simultaneous use of both headphones *and* a charger, which is tremendously helpful. Small and convenient, and doesn't compromise the sound quality beyond the normal limits of the sound chips they put in phones. Well worth investing few quid in if you travel regularly and want to use your phone as a source of audio while on the go.

At LAST - a USB / Headphone adaptor that works - all the time... everytime. All the others gave up the ghost after a couple of weeks. Excellent

genial mon tel avec des appareils condurrent ne refe pas le son tres faible , avec celui la il gere le son tout doux pour dormir il est certe un peu plus cher mais pour moi c'est le top, et il est qualitatif

Excellent Audio Jack Adapter, loop design great for storage in the adapters/cables bag. Meets expectations, would certainly recommend to others.

It has a good sound quality, and doesn't hinder charging speed while in use. It's affordable too! I've had two other kinds of these usbc to audio jack and usbc (I use wired earbuds with my phone while in bed at night, and like to charge at the same time... So annoying newer phones don't have audio jacks anymore) and they both eventually wore out, which is to be expected of most things I plug into my phone (I destroy a lot of charger cables). Hopefully this one lasts as long or longer (both lasted about a year). This is also the most comfortable one I've had, since it doesn't get in the way by sticking straight out or sticking out to the sides. It keeps the wires well out of the way. It's also pink, so plus cuteness points lol
