Oh My This is GOOD Vinegar. I didn't know what to expect and what I received I could never have imagined. When you taste it for the first time, you know it's vinegar BUT.... The flavor is hard to describe. I will say it's sweet, as vinegars go, with a taste that is reminiscent of chocolate, good chocolate, not cheap chocolate. It is really good and adds a whole new level of flavor to any food. A MUST tray for any foodie. If you like new food tastes, just buy it. You can thank me later. Assertive aged vinegar with a pronounced tang, lovely in dipping sauce!

Worked well in a recipe I had that called for it. Flavor is unusual - I liken it to my experience with Fish Sauce, which smells terrible but adds remarkable taste. Tasting just the vinegar was initially disappointing but it worked well in the dish.

If you like Unami, this is your pick. It is a little too powerful for us, but when mixed with olive oil and herbs it brings out delicious notes.

I use it foe hot and sour soup. Great flavor.....more malty tasting with less "sour".

These guys deserve the five stars if there were seven stars id click on All of them but I just had a bowl of ramen noodles and yeah it does wake it up it's very good

Probably the best black vinegar I've had outside of China

This is my go-to Chinese black vinegar. Tried a couple brands but this one tastes must authentic to me.

I would definitely buy this vinegar again! The taste is amazing, it a game changer when added to sushi, soups and rice noodles.

First time trying black vinegar. Very good and also good for you.

Even though I find it quite a bit pricey, it's not bad and has a good flavor. It pairs pretty well with dumplings, so I'm happy at least about that.
