Absolutely love this sourdough banneton proving basket kit! Everything included is high quality and well thought out. Great set for home baking. The rattan baskets feel well-made with no strange odor, and the dough doesn’t stick when properly floured. The 9-inch size is perfect for standard loaves, giving them a nice, even shape. Having two baskets is very convenient for baking multiple loaves at once. Suitable for both beginners and experienced bakers.

The durability of the tools that come in this kit surprised me! I’ve been using it for a couple times now so everything has went through multiple washes and bakes and everything is still intact! The basket are AMAZING quality. As far as odor there wasn’t one when i opened The package which was nice. The appearance of everything seemed super clean and organized!

Excellent bread baskets for making homemade sourdough bread, or for holding dough while making tortillas or cookies, or anything that requires dough. Great for simply adding bread to the dinner table as well. They keep bread soft, not soggy. Baskets are light weight and are perfect sizing. Very easy to clean.

I’ve been looking for a wood pulp banneton set, and this one is honestly a steal for $24.99. You get two 9-inch round baskets, linen covers, a dough whisk, bread lame with 5 blades, dough scraper, flour duster, silicone spatula, silicone brush, bowl scraper, cleaning brush, a helpful manual (covers prep, use, and maintenance), plus an easy sourdough recipe with pictures. Everything feels decent quality and has held up so far. The only missing pieces are a silicone bread sling (super useful for deep Dutch ovens) and a sourdough starter jar. If those were included, it would be an easy 5/5. Still, for the price and what you get, I definitely recommend this kit to other bakers. Helpful Tip: dust bannetons with rice flour (regular not sticky)

I started my sourdough journey in mid-January and have been baking almost daily since! These banneton bowls have been a nice addition for my artisan loaves! After the bulk fermentation period, these bowls are very nice to have for the cold proofing period in your refrigerator. They stick less to the sides, and the proofing time in these bowls helps them form their size for baking, which also makes scouring with a knife much easier! This results in a nicer texture, too. I feel like the bread can just breathe better during the proofing period. The bowls are of solid structure and high quality. They also help get a crispier crust since they are formed correctly. These are a very nice addition, and I consider them essential now. I highly recommend investing in a set for anyone who regularly bakes sourdough artisan loaves; the process will be easier, and the texture is better!

This is a great starter kit for someone like me who is just starting their sourdough journey. It includes everything you will need except the Dutch oven! Everything is made well and I love the proofing baskets especially. Only thing missing is a printed instruction booklet. I’ve had to watch videos in order to fully understand how to make the starter and keep it going. But I use almost all of the items. One other thing though, a larger and wider starter jar would be better. I’ve had to buy this separately.
