I bought this throttle lock with not much faith it would work.. boy was I wrong, it is fantastic! I have problems with my wrist aching after a while of riding, takes away the fun of the ride. I sold one of my two Harley Road KIngs and bought a newer one with cruise control. This was for the old one I kept and like I said, I wasn't expecting much from it because I have purchased a different brand for the RK I sold, it was not worth the effort to put it on. This is easy to use, goes on easy, and if I would have bought this brand in the first place more than likely I would have kept my RK that I sold and been very happy with it. First off though you should know, this is not a cruise control, it is a throttle lock, it holds the throttle in whatever position you press the lock down on. It will hold the throttle and you will gain speed going down hill and lose speed going uphill. I think this is a fair trade off to be able to rest your hand, wrist and arm for a few minutes. Also, it only takes a quick push of a little red button to release it, or a twist of the throttle to release it. It's a great deal and I'm happy I have it!

Works great sitting at a standstill--held the throttle at a constant RPM. As soon as I hit the road it began to slip the moment it was set. Just routine vibration caused the throttle to slip. Disappointed.

Very awkward trying to get the lock positioned and activated with one hand while riding. The release works ok, but it does not inspire any confidence using it on my bike.

My mobility scooter is for outdoor use capable of 16mph, so I tend to go for long rides on bike trails. It's nice having a cruise control to give your hand a rest. This works perfect for me and it's pretty easy to set to. The price is right and the quality is nice for being plastic.

Doesn't work for my 2025 CFMoto 450 IBEX/MT, the 450 IBEX/MT has a cable throttle that utilizes a rather strong return spring to close the throttle, most bikes with a fly-by-wire throttle will probably be OK with this throttle lock because the return spring in a fly-by-wire throttle is a lot weaker. Also be aware that if you have anything on the end of your handlebars, like bar end mirrors, or some kind of hand guards that wrap around the end of the bars, you will not be able to mount this product, without first removing the mirrors, or hand guards.

Works great!!! beats all the expensive completion . easy to install. looks great. and grips on for cruise control. set the speed on by throttle and then set In the cruise control.

Crap. Its plastic so it broke in 5km.
