PSA approved for timing chain protection
PSA has trouble with cams timing chains so total rcp and Mobil 1 formula p was the only oil recommended by PSA until recently. Castrol is much better value and the engine sound better for some reason. These engines do not have wet belts, they have a dry timing belt with a cam chain. The chain was the part that gave trouble hence these oils were developed. I would recommend changing oil every 5000 miles.

What distinction is needed when we can't differentiate them already?
For some unknown reason, the engine oils used in vehicles that also use gasoline are different.
