Love total boat products have used this epoxy on multiple boat restorations is tough as nails, works well with their other products of course follow the instructions on the website and you’ll get a great easy to use product, this product is durable, a great value for the money, but remember poor surface prep no matter the product will always give poor results

Great primer for boat hulls, etc Dries to a tough film overnight yet still easy to sand. Says you can’t apply over a 1 part paint, but I used it over dry, sanded Kilz 3 and it was fine. First gallon I purchased from Amazon. I found out the hard way Amazon paint products are not returnable so I looked around. Thats when I found Jamestown Distributors. Same pricing and delivery timing, but included a paint suit, stir stick, roller & pan, roll of tape, and tack cloth, plus’s 10% discount. Not sure of their return policy, but it can’t be worse and the rest is better. Even shipping. Amazons stuff was all dented, Jamestown’s arrived in perfect condition.

I decided to use this to seal up the bottom of my 15' whaler Ive been restoring for below the waterline. The prior owner had old paint that was peeling. Sanded it all off and put 3 coats of this one with a foam roller from Lowes. I tried with a 4" quality nap, but it started to shed. The foam rollers seemed to do a great job and went on fairly well. But when it dried, it left it a little rough. I went to sand it smooth to prep for bottom paint it was a bear to sand. I thought I could knock it down with 320, no luck.. tried 220, no luck.. finally went to 80 (all I had around) and it started to come off, but clogged a ton.. then came back to 320 to smooth it off better. Being that it will be below the waterline, Im not overly concerned, but not being able to smooth it out easily either at application or sanding later is somewhat disappointing. I was expecting for it smooth out easily but my guess its this epoxy is really strong which is great, but tough to work with it. Working time I had no problems. It mixed fine 3:1. Gas off for 15 minutes and rolled on. It does have a pot life about 4 hours or so. I was apply to keep going coat after coat.. Fumes were not bad, have had worse.

Great product I recommend throughly mixing the paint before adding hardener and it’s 3 to 1 ration you will be fine.
