Very impressive!
So this Viking press landmine attachment showed up today and I’m super impressed. The packaging could’ve survived World War 3, thankfully it survived UPS! Whew! It’s hefty. And I mean SOLID. It’s got good weight to it, definitely fat in the hands, maybe 2 inch diameter? I plan on wrapping it in some sorta friction tape also. If I had to say something bad about it, I’d say the welds coulda been cleaner. It’s not bad so don’t get me wrong. It’s perfectly functional, no sharp edges etc… just woulda been nice to see some nice “stacked dimes” tig welding. But then how much would the cost go up? For what this thing costs, it’s worth every cent. Also I wanna try putting a piece of rubber on the end of the lock screw, so I don’t scuff up my bar. Definitely glad I made this purchase. Thanks Titan! And thank you for the care in packaging, all too often things are getting damaged in transit, not this though! One last thing, Titan, you should be proud of your product, put a logo on the thing. You’ve got an amazing product, let people know what they have!

Versatile, well made
I love this product and use it specifically for overhead press with a landmine attachment that attaches to the rack (I prefer this to a barbell as I can keep my shoulders in a better position by having my hands turned in) and for front squats as seen in the video. You could also use it for romanian deadlifts, tricep presses, and others. There are websites where you can see different ways to use it. One of my other favorite things about it is you can cinch it down to the bar with a little screw so it won't come off, that comes in handy during front squats as you can vary your foot position and actually pull on the bar to get deeper. I've already recommended it to my friends who have their own home gyms.

Heavy Duty with Emphasis on “Heavy” …
I bought this to supplement a home gym to accommodate the type of lifts I was doing in my commercial gym. While I like the apparatus itself, it is both a heavy and awkward implement that could benefit from a tweak or two to its design/construction. WHAT IT IS The TITAN NEUTRAL GRIP VIKING PRESS HANDLE is an attachment designed to fit at the end of a standard Olympic-sized 45lb barbell to perform angled shoulder presses. The handle’s design allows for four hand grip positions: 2 pronated grip placements and 2 neutral grip placements. The space between the two handle positions offers enough room to keep your head/face clear off the bar when pressing (at least my head/face). There is a screw-knob that is designed to keep the handle attached to the bar. While some may find creative methods to anchor the bar for using this tool, it is recommended that it be used in conjunction with a landmine-post accessory. I would also suggest factoring the need to elevate the bar so you can start/finish presses from a safe/more natural position … you do not want to clean or jerk the bar into position as it may inadvertently cause the handle to slide off the bar or un-anchor the landmine post (I have tested both possibilities and yes, these things can happen). HOW IT PERFORMS This press handle is heavy … it is advertised as weighing 20lbs and while I have no need to verify this, it is a large, awkward and heavy apparatus. Made of steel with solid welding at all connection points, this handle is well-constructed and designed to take a beating. The black powder-coating on the handle creates a nice, natural gripping surface. What I like about this handle that the squared grips can accommodate both a pronated (hands facing downward) and neutral (hands facing inward) grip positions that suit the lifter’s comfort level. The coated surface is textured enough to forgo using chalk, but if you purchase one of these, you are more likely to be the type that thrives working out in a cloud of chalk dust (like me). I’ve seen other comments regarding the questionable construction of this handle and I have not seen anything on it that indicates inferior craftsmanship … the welds are extremely solid. The biggest issue I have is the tightening screw … I just do not see this as being effective and honestly, I do not like the idea of digging a screw into the end of my bar (especially when I eventually get my precious Rogue Westside bar). I think incorporating a clamping mechanism into the sleeve would be much more effective and it wouldn’t scrape or dig into the bar. However, if you are pressing into the bar, it is unlikely that the handle will ever slide off and the twisting of the bar really isn’t an issue if your are holding the handle with both hands (as it is designed to be used). The only other issue I have is I question whether the steel tubes on this had to be as fat as they are. Titan also makes a single arm Viking press attachment and it has a much leaner look to its construction. Overall, I like how this attachment performs. I see the TITAN FITNESS NEUTRAL GRIP VIKING PRESS HANDLE as a purchase that will last a lifetime … a worthy investment.

Great addition to any gym!
Awesome piece of equipment. It’s seems like it’s built sturdy. I like the way it’s put together so user has several grip positions to lift. Like the large diameter of the bar. Read other reviews that complained about the welds but they are ok on my unit and as long as it holds up, I’ll be happy. Had three workouts using this piece and I like the way it works my shoulders. I can really feel the shoulders isolated (which may be a result of a new grip/position) and plan to use regularly. Bottom line: I recommend this handle

Good attachment
Gets the job done - so that's good. Can lift a lot more than with dumbbell alone and doesn't aggravate my rotator cuff. Cheap welds. The thumb safety screw is in slanted - the nut is welded slanted. Fortunately, it's really not necessary. Works fine without it I would buy again. Good value at $55

Nice piece of equipment. Solid and well-built
Great addition to my home gym. Love this thing. Solid as a rock. Almost as good as a jammer press. Gets your arms out in front of you and in a great position for shoulder presses. Plus the different hand positions is such a major plus.

Great product, a tad narrow on the grips
Works great, very solid just wish it was a bit wider as the grips are a bit narrow and could use a little more room in the middle for your head as you really have to be careful to watch knocking yourself on the noggin and I'm only 5'9 and 190 lbs so grip may be way narrow for big guys ebut it still works very well. Very heavy duty.
