I bought this set looking for a granny square pattern for something that looks like a pansy flower. It has many different patterns for a granny square. The back of the card has symbols for the different stitches one would use in making the granny square pictured. There is a booklet included that decodes these symbols. Easy to use once you understand the symbols. I would purchase again as a gift for a crocheting friend.

Wonderful set of patterns!
I am an experienced crocheted and this deck of Granny Square patterns was perfect!! I liked it so much that I purchased a second set for a friend who also crochets. Awesome Granny Square Card Deck
I love this granny square card deck. Nice thick color cards for each design and the stitch grid on the other side. I'm not good at reading stitch charts; however, I can read these just fine and referring to the color photo makes it easy. Love the information in the User Guide booklet. The beginning has a stitch guide in US and UK terms and diagrams. This would make a nice, easy project to do one granny square a week for 50 weeks and then sew them together when finished to make an afghan. Looking forward to picking out yarn and starting the project after my current project is complete. I like it so much, I bought another one to give to my crochet friend for her birthday. So glad I found this gem!

Good quality, simple and fun!
I bought this for my 88 year old grandmothers birthday. She loved it! She lives in a nursing home so I punched a hole in the corner so I could place them on a ring to prevent her from dropping the cards and not being able to pick them back up. The cards are good quality with an image on the front and instructions on the back. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is because the abbreviations are in the instruction booklet and not on a card. The booklet is already starting to tear but the cards are holding up nicely.

Great pictures and patterns.
I love these cards. I am in the middle of my first project. I had a little trouble with the pattern symbols at first but it was easy enough to figure out with the key for the symbols. I do recommend and I will be purchasing other boxes.

The details and instructions are great. Very disappointing that they count solids vs changes in colors as a different pattern. I expected 50 unique patterns.

I love using these, especially for inspo. Once you get the hang of one of the designs, it’s easy to adapt it to your preferences. Instructions are super clear and the design options are essentially limitless. I know some people have said they found the cards disappointing because some were duplicates, just with different colors, but I haven’t found any, they all seem to be different.
