It is a heavy duty high temperature red colored lithium grease rated to 550°F. The outlet end of the grease tube which has the metal retainer ring was delivered damaged and bent and the cardboard tube had a crimp in it, but I was still able to get it into my grease gun and I got it to work. All can say is, shipping a grease tube in a plastic bag with no stuffing is not a good idea. If I had gotten more than one tube they probably probably would have used a box with stuffing. Appears to be working all right. It should work for my needs.
