Amperage determined by device, not by charger
I like this charger, it does the job. I got a tester and learned that with all the chargers I have, the amperage is determined by the device, not the charger. So if your charger can provide 3.1A but your phone only needs 1.5A, it'll only pull 1.5, and that's not the chargers fault. It happens even with fast chargers. The charger CAN provide enough current to be a fast charger, but if the phone doesn't want it, there's nothing the charger can do
