When I first opened the box, I thought it was too small to be of use. BUT have found that it’s really helpful in keeping food-stuff out of the drain. And it’s a Perfect size/ design! — not too big for the sink and not too small. I find it helpful to “rinse” plates over the basket to have it “catch” the crumbs and residuals. It comes with a lot of the stretch nets. No need to order extras right away. It really reduces cleaning time. It’s well made. Highly recommend!

This little collector for small kitchen scraps has proven very useful in my kitchen sink, which does not have a disposal. The liners that come with the stand are strong and easy to take on and off. It keeps the sink cleaner - no soggy bits to wipe up. I also put peels from various fruits and such in it. It is small, so for food prep activities for multiple people you'd probably need to replace the net liner more than once a day. I only use one liner a day so far, and it comes with a lot of liners. I like it better than some larger containers with drainage that don't have liners and you have to clean them each time you empty it. I'm glad someone invented this.

My husband tells me every other day how much he likes this system for the keeping coffee grounds from the French press out of our septic system! I like it for things like egg shells, soggy food scraps, etc. We like how durable the frame is and how easy it is to clean.

This is the perfect little device to catch food while scraping plates or draining a dish. The frame is sturdy and there are MANY little catching nets. It is small which is good for most people. I am glad I ordered it. It is easy to use and suits the purpose.

Easy to use

Love this and wish we had it a long time ago. Easy to use & came with plenty liners. The liners are also super small knit and catch so much more ghan I expected. The opening Is larger that others I looked at but I preffered this one because it can catch stuff from large pots or pans. I would guestimate that it takes up 1/7th of my sink. The reward is greater than the small loss of space! I also don't personally see it as an eyesore unless it's full. The only downside I've found is that the waste starts to smell before it's anywhere close to being full. Although it is super easy to remove the bag without making a mess. 10/10 would buy again if I needed another. I highly recommend! It keeps a lot out from our drain and I never worry about cleaning rice and bits from cooking directly into it. I recommended it to a family member and they love using it for their RV

I tried this since I could not use a garbage disposal in my area. Something about a septic system...who new. This is the next best thing. I catches all the fine particles that would normally clog my strainer and flood my sink...gross. I only wish it had a little covering as it isn't too attractive as it collects material. I found a small box that fits over it, put drawer liner paper over it and it covers up everything. Perfect.

Great idea but the drainage into the sink was a problem. The bag must be changed often or daily to prevent staining the porcelain sinks. It’d be super if we had a metal/chrome sink, I can’t think of the word.

Strains leftover soup great so you can drain the juices and toss the solid food.

Unlike sunilar products designed to be glued to the edge or side of a sink, this one sits comfortably at the bottom, even over a drain hole, and allows for ease of use. As others have safe if you're using it with more pungent foods like fish, you need to swap out the nets daily, if you're straining most other foods, you can easily go for up to a week without worrying about smells,as the nets allow for great airflow, so the contents dry out quickly. I wish there was some sort of holder for this to hide the contents when not in use, but I'm not docking any stars for omitting this, it would only improve it to 6/5 if it was included! As such I am looking at building something simple on my own to provide this functionality
