could this power a 500w 4-channel amplifier for car speakers? it has a 60amp fuse and only requires 12v to turn on.

short answer is no. 13.8 is standard automotive voltage at maximum charge, so that will be fine. but this PS will not deliver the 60 amps. most likely the self-protection circuit in the PS will "fold back", that is deliberately throttle the current delivered to a low value. this normally entails a concurrent reduction in output voltage and that will cause your amp to turn-off. turning the PS power switch momentarily off should clear the fault. while both amp and PS may survive the event, it is a warning that either could fail the next time around.

Can this supply be used to power a 5 amp dc motor?

I'm afraid that the SPS-1330 is not designed for powering DC motors. We recommend you choose an adjustable DC power supply instead, such as our SPS-3005 series.

Dieses preiswerte Netzteil betreibt meine Amateurfunkstation (2m und 70cm). Alles ist sehr robust gebaut, das Voll-Metallgehäuse schirmt gut ab. Es gibt keine Spannungseinbrüche beim Senden, d.h. die Spannungsstabilisierung funktioniert auch.

MY POWER INVERTER

I DECIDED TO PURCHASE THIS INVERTER FOR TWO REASONS ONE IF IT EVER GETS HOT ENOUGH IT HAS A FAN THAT WILL COME ON AUTOMATICALLY AND TWO FOR IT BEING 30 AMPS. I GOT IT TO POWER MY CB RADIOS AT 13.8 DC VOLTS AND IT DOES ABOUT 14.1VOLTS WHICH IS GREAT FOR WHAT I WANT IT TO POWER. ALSO THE UNIT ITSELF HAS NEVER GOT WARM TO THE TOUCH EITHER, LIKE FROM OVER DRIVING IT.
