The holding container is so handy, there is a box to hold all the different blades which then fits into the container. There there is an adjustable safety tool so you don't slice your appendages off when nearing the end that works perfectly and also fits into the box. I seriously sliced an onion in 6 seconds.I have used other kinds of mandolin and this is by far the best. It is easy to wash, all the bits go into the box, then the cover goes on so everything is kept together and blades are all safely tucked away.
