Loved it
I bought it for learning IOT but because of it I ended up learning python, Linux commands, communication protocols and soo much more. I ended up making quite a few projects on this. I even ended up making my final year project on this. It's build was also very good and I know it is a bit more expensive than an Arduino but it also has the capacity to run a full fledged OS on this. You can't compare an Arduino to Raspberry Pi just because they both have physical pins to interact with the environment. Pi is capable of doing so much more. Like it has a camera interface so you can simply attach a camera and do image processing on PI which is not that easy on an Arduino. And because of Linux based OS, raspbian, you can also do multitasking, and yes there is a windows based OS for this as well. In short this product was a good investment from an engineering / hobbyist point of view. There is so much to do with this. But if you are beginner who just want ants to program simple stuff that can interact with the environment, like turning on bulbs with a button click or getting temperature data and setting thresholds based on that data then you can just go for an Arduino. It is easier to learn and get your hands dirty but if you need more processing power for projects like image processing or multitasking just go with a PI, it will be more expensive with its own price and a memory card for storing OS, (a monitor if you are not running a headless connection - for those who don't know, a home adless connection is basically when you connect you raspberry pi to your main computer or laptop to see its GUI as the OS which PI runs on, raspbian, offers you one) and also it will be a bit more time consuming in terms of setting things up but at the end it will serve you well.

Glad that I bought it
Works nearly flawlessly. There are however two minor issues. First, when I set the location as India (Kolkata) it changed my keyboard language to Bangali even when I had selected US keyboard. Since we can't see passwords by default, it took me for a while to understand the issue. So, I would suggest that you check the 'make password visible' option when you first use Raspberry. The second issue is that it is showing undervolt symbol ( a yellow lightning bolt like symbol that appears on top left corner) when I connected it with a VGA monitor using HDMI Male to VGA Female Cable. I connected the same RPI directly to a TV with HDMI port and I did not see the thunderbolt symbol.I haven't tried it yet, but I think that it can be solved by using the official power supply. For the people who want to know about which peripherals to buy, I am giving a list of things that I have used except the power adaptor:HDMI cable: AmazonBasics High-Speed HDMI Cable http://amzn.in/bVwi7qPHDMI Male to VGA Female converter: RTS HDMI Male to VGA Female Cable with Audio http://amzn.in/0Jak7WvMemory Card: Samsung EVO Plus Grade 1, Class 10 32GB MicroSDHC 95 MB/S Memory Card with SD Adapter http://amzn.in/gunnQw9Case: Raspberry Pi 3 Official Case - Black/Greyhttp://amzn.in/8GyzyNaKeyboard and mouse: iball keyboard & mouse. Logitech Wifi Keyboard mouse combo also works.
