I'm wanting to seal the brick under and behind my woodburning stove. Will heat of the stove discolor or otherwise affect it?

Does it bring out the color of the rock or bricks?

This doesn’t give a “wet look”, but it does bring out some color.

Since this product is acrylic-based, can it be applied horizontally and does it contain UV inhibitors?

We used it on vertical surface (chimney). Not sure about horizontal or UV inhibitors. Thank you
