It size is perfect for making cookies and small biscuits, and the release rate is excellent. These are designed perfectly for right handed folks. I'm left handed and I have to use my left index finger to activate the lever. Everything just pops right out when you run the scoop under warm water between scoops. The handle grip feels solid in my hand and the quality is excellent, definitely built to last. I paid around $10 for it and it is a great value for the money. Durable, easy to clean, and simple to use, this scoop works exactly as intended.
