I purchased the PHILIPS Sky 5W Rechargeable Touch Controlled Table Lamp, and I’m genuinely impressed with how thoughtfully designed this lamp is—especially for someone like me who has sensitive eyes. Initial Trust & Brand Reliability: I’ve generally been against LED table lamps because many tend to strain or hurt my eyes. However, since this is a Philips product, I trusted the brand—and I’m glad I did. It completely changed my perception of LED study lamps. Eye Comfort & Brightness Control: The light is very comfortable on the eyes. The lamp offers multiple brightness levels that are operated through touch, and adjusting the brightness using clockwise and anti-clockwise movements is super intuitive and easy. You can quickly find the right level based on your activity—studying, working, or reading at night. No Heating – A Huge Plus: One of the biggest advantages of this lamp is that it does not heat up at all. I had a previous LED lamp (gifted) that used to heat up and cause eye discomfort. This Philips lamp stays cool and does not warm up the area around your study or workspace. This is a huge plus, especially during summers ♥️. Design & Flexibility: The lamp height is easily adjustable thanks to its flexible design, allowing you to position the light exactly where you need it. It feels sturdy yet elegant and fits well on a study table or bedside. Battery & Charging: The rechargeable battery lasts around 2–3 days with regular use and charges fully within approximately 2 hours. This makes it very convenient for daily use without frequent charging. Portability & Usage: Since it’s rechargeable and lightweight, the lamp is portable and can be carried to any part of the house. I use it for studying, working, and night-time reading on a dim setting—and it performs beautifully in all scenarios. Overall Verdict: If you have sensitive eyes and are looking for a reliable, cool-to-the-touch, and well-designed LED table lamp, this Philips lamp is an excellent choice. This is a nice table lamp that works in a plug and play mode. The brightness is adequate and the product is stable. There is no battery and the product works on a direct A/C connection.

The product is Fabulous but it doesn't mean that these points should be ignored - 1. Battery Life - it's a Wired desk Light. The product shown in the image does not mentions that it's a Wireless Desk light or wired one. 2. The price range is pretty good tbh. 3. It is a bit more bright and may cause eye strain to some people whose eyes are a lil sensitive to bright lights( Note this that I said 'some people' not all) 4. Touch Control - there's no touch control at all. You won't be able to adjust the color or brightness of the desk light. 5. Sturdiness - it's lightweight (weighs js 200gm), and I think it should be kept with care and can break or get damaged easily (it's still strong for a baby to break)
