Not sure a dishwasher would completely eliminate the oils from this silicone pinch bowls, once you use them for this purpose! **Q: I am using these to measure and pour coffee grounds. How is the grip on these?** A: The grip is good. I use them to melt a small amount of butter in the microwave. I use them to serve individual condiments so I don't have put the jar on the table. **Q: Do these bowls come with covers?** A: These bowls do not come with covers. You don't have to worry about them breaking, or making a noise if they fall or clash together.They are perfect to hold stuff for food preparation, for holding measured syrup or juice concentrate, oil, vinegar, tamarind pulp,vanilla extract etc. Can hold a single egg too. Break one into each bowl if you need to pour eggs out individually, but don't want to put them all together. Turn it inside out and the cup capacity increases some bit - and it won't wobble too. Love the colors.
