We play harps at small gigs and are looking for a richer sound** A: This is not the kind of sound that you want for your harp. Unless you just want to get good loud mids. In the case of my piano, bass and high pitched notes were awfully distorted. **Q: Does this work well to monitor electronic drums?** A: Yes. I use mine for television, drums, organ, guitar, vocals or anything else. Just keep in mind that it is low amps. It works well in most rooms, but maybe not in a loud coffee shop or bar. **Q: Can this Handel a base guitar with other instruments** A: Absolutely not! It couldn't even handle a single piano keyboard. It's alright for mids but terrible for lows and distorted for highs. **Q: What material is the speaker cone made from?** A: It is metal-shiny. The thing is built like a brick. Though the item is functional and there are no signs of any damage or fault, as all the functions of the speaker are working fine. The original packing had been cut open and then hastily re-packed by some unprofessional person, using common packing tape. I have shared the photos. Even the padding inside the package was not proper and some packing material seemed missing. The item had many inches of free space to shake and possibly get damaged inside the pack, while in transport - I'm lucky that it didn't. This seems like a returned product that has been re-sent to me without bothering to pack the opened product properly, so I am seriously displeased with the seller. The Roland product is doing all its jobs nicely, as advertised, but I can't be sure if this is a repaired defective product or a new one, in good condition. Poor show by the seller. This will help Roland loose it's market in India quickly.
