I love this little tablet
Good product, great performance, perfect size and perfect price I heard about Lenovo before, but I had never bought one of their products and I am very pleased with it. The tablet is perfect in size, the screen provides a clear picture to watch my movies and shows and it is perfect for home or on the go. Great product. Very affordable.

I recommend it for kids
My toddler loves it, we've had it I think for almost a year and the battery last a long time and it's really worth getting it for your little one along with the kid friendly software and the parent has to approve any apps or content that's downloaded

Great for children, but could use more RAM
The device is great for young children. It is affordable and a decent size for my toddler. I would recommend buying a more robust case though. I didn't use the one included much before getting another one with more protection for the corners. I'm glad I did since we take the device with us everywhere. Just watch out if you are buying this device for a specific children's game. The ones they recommend work well, but one of the Montessori learning games lags badly on this device especially if there are other games that are still running in the background. Also, start up and switching profiles is slow, but I did expect that for a device at this price point.

Works great
I wanted to replace my kindle Oasis and wanted color. I decided an 8 inch tablet might be a better option in the long run because I wouldn't be locked into the Amazon system. I was worried that a sub $100 tablet would be too slow. I was wrong. For only having 2gb of RAM this tablet is pretty peppy. It was easy to set up and get just the way I wanted. The screen is nice and bright. I loaded the Kindle app, Google Play Books, and Scribid tried all three and I'm pleased. I'm not a gamer so that's not important for me. After 6hrs of use, reading and surfing 60% battery still left so I'll be able to get 2 days use without charging. I think I found the perfect e-reader for me. Much more versatile and less expensive than a color kindle.

SLOW and a downgrade over gen 2, but has its uses.
Worse than gen 2 of the same product. THE GOOD! AND WHAT TO USE IT FOR! If you're looking for a tablet to view camera live-feed on or something similar. A very non demanding simple task i.e. checking emails, super light browsing, or watching your cameras and having this hanging by the door - GREAT TABLET (IF you buy it on a discount) 55$ on prime day, for this tablet? with a case? BARGAIN! It's slower and worse than Amazon tablets, BUT at least it has a normal android OS and no ads. THE BAD I have gen 2 lenovo m8, this is gen 4 of m8. and it's a downgrade... Gen 2 has - better materials - metal back plate. Better camera Better screen resolution More RAM (3GB) Gen 4 has - worse materials - plastic. Worse camera Worse screen resolution Less RAM (2GB) It's a downgrade. It's slow. It's laggy. The new OS is just awful too. It won't be a good experience, rather - save money for a Samsung A9 or Xiaomi Redmi tab if you want a good, responsive, fast tablet. This isn't it....

It does basic things super awesome. Good battery life
So I know reviews can be a little conflicting, And I guess it depends what you're trying to do with this thing. If you look at it from a gaming tablet, it's probably a no. But for internet and videos and what my intention is to make it a e-reader for my kid, this is flipping awesome!. I also was using the thing super heavy setting it up installing different programs and I had the Wi-Fi on, it was installing a lot, the screen was on almost the entire time, and it only dropped 11%. I believe the tablet was saying that in the instructions it would get 16 hours, kind of makes sense. I also imagine once the Wi-Fi is turned off and my kid is just using it for e-reading, the life for the battery will probably be even longer. This is like 15 steps better than the Kindle fire stuff. I can't stand those things. This tablet I could expect more immediate responses from it when trying to install and run basic programs. And this was just the model that had two gigs of RAM so if you're getting one that has more than that, it should be a pretty pleasant experience. It feels sturdy enough, sound qualities pretty decent. I disabled the camera on it because my kids not going to use it that way. Unfortunately I can't vouch for the picture quality. I'm sure it's okay though. The 10-watt charger is also nice to have as a slight upgrade to the normal chargers. Can definitely tell it helps pick up charging speed a bit.

Good for those on the move.
Great for the small business user. My work is very portable, so something that could hold basic apps to multitasking, I love! This saved my work from me always using my phone!

It is my 3rd Lenovo tablet. My previous 2 was dropped many times but still working. That is the main reason i will still buy Lenovo for it quality. The size of the tablet is bigger than my previous one, which might be lenovo 3. Personally, I still like smaller size. This tablet comes with a cover, which is handy to put it onto the table. 27/08/2025: I just dropped this product from 5 star to be 3 star. I found out the speed of this tablet doesn't seem to be as fast as the 3rd generation. But this is not the biggest issue. The timing app doesn't turn up the alarm. I have called Lenovo several times, but still not fixed. 27/08/2025: After spending another 1 hour talking with Lenovo, the issue is still not solved. I have to drop the star to be 1 star. I am very dissappointed at Lenovo's quality now.

For the price, this tablet has good functionality and build (and the included tablet casing works well), thus can’t complain. My only two gripes with the tablet: (1) the screen is very reflective hence watching movies with dark scenes even under indoor lighting is difficult — would’ve been much better if the included screen protector is matte type (2) certain applications seem to have difficulty storing files on the SD card — tried different cards but still same result.
