TP-link UE330 USB 3.0 3-Port Hub & Gigabit Ethernet Adapter 2 in 1 USB Adapter - Plug and Play

Bought it to pair with Mi Box 4k, to give it ethernet option and also extra usb port. The device is easy to setup, just plug n play. Excellent connection speeds....wifi was also working fine but sometimes it buffered while using prime video or even youtube. But now no such problem. Usb ports are working as mentioned. There is no external power supply option but I don't need it but maybe if you want to connect protable drives. Haven't checked so can't comment. Only thing I want to change in this device is the usb connector lenght...it's around 5 inches. Overall great option if you want ethernet and usb port option in a single device.

I upgraded my ethernet network adapter. The old one had 100Mbps limit and this has 1Gbps support which makes a lot of difference even though I am using the 100Mbps internet plan. My speed almost doubled as you can see in the two SpeedTest screenshots I attached. It is a sturdy product although design and wire quality of UE300 seems better, this is better since it comes with 3 additional USB ports, also because if you buy UE300, one USB port in your laptop will get used up. TP Link is a good brand so I think the product will last, if I have any problems I will update this review for sure, until then buy with your eyes closed, this is a good investment since I think all of us will have 1Gbps connections for domestic use in a couple of years, considering the rate of progress communication industry is going with. Also, prefer stable wired connections whenever possible. Thanks!

Ordered on 17th received on 21st (actually was about to receive on 20th but due to delivery guy mistake it got 1 day late). The cable is perfect, it worked directly plug and play with my macbook pro 2015, with mac os x High Sierra 10.13.6, NO need of any driver, it just worked as it is. I had tested all ports together, lan wire, 1 mouse, 1 pendrive, 1 usb hard disk, all worked well together. In the product page it displayed old UE330 version1 in the images, but i wow received new UE330 version2, which looks very nice and very proffesional and build quality also seems perfect.

I Bought Two of these in 2020. Still (2023 JAN) working fine. No Driver is Required for adequate performance. But for FULL 1Gbps performance, you must install Realtek's Latest Driver. TP-Link UE300/UE330 USB to Ethernet adapters are based on Realtek RTL8153 chipset. No Overheating or Performance degradation has been even after a continuous 1Gbps SpeedTest for 3 Hours using OpenSpeedTest-Server. Suppose you forget or can't Install the driver. I found 700 to 800 Mbps Speed on Windows 10, 11, and MacOS. So It's Highly recommended to Install the Latest Driver from Realtek. After Driver installation, you can see 950+ Mbps for download and upload. When I tested this on a Linux Machine, I got Full Performance without Installing any driver.

Very Useful product. Easy to install, easy to use and No signal drops. All ports function together seamlessly. I have used it with my windows 10 OS. Very good quality, has a premium look as well. The only con I observed was if you are using a wifi adapter and a Bluetooth adapter together from this hub it creates an interference which I have overcome by using the two from different usb ports and not using it together from the hub. Worth buying.

I have a Macboook Thunderbolt Lan connecter adapter which I use for connecting to Internet. Last week I decided to use the port to connect to an external monitor. After a lot search I found this product. This adapter connects easily to internet port and has 3 USB slots as well. I have tested them and they work pretty well. A really good product at an affordable price. Those who are thinking of buying an apple thunderbolt gigabit ethernet adapter (will cost 5 to 6K) can buy this.

I brought this primarily because my Lenovo Laptop (Windows 11) has only one USB 3 port, no ethernet slot and one c-connector port. While in office immediately after purchase of this TP-Link UE330 3-Port USB Hub and Gigabit Ethernet Adapter, I used this for the ethernet connectivity to my office network. Simultaneously I was using the USB ports in the Hub for connectivity of my wireless mouse and one port for external hard-disk. This continuously gave me problems with connectivity of the mouse or the HDD. I got errors like USB device not detected etc. Till a point, where it refused to detect my mouse. At home, I used the hub for connecting only to my external HDDs (two numbers) and it is working fine. For a moment, I was trying to return the product, but since I got this delivered in Mumbai at my Office and then I had returned home to Karnataka, it refused to process return in a different city. Right now, it is working fine, since I do not need ethernet at home.
