I scrapped the complete coconut in less than 5 minutes without much effort. Only challenge is to break the coconut in equal halves. I saw some vids on youtube for it, but wasn't able to manage it. I've seen some other scrappers on desertcart which have a special blade like thing for this. This one does not have. Also I feel the scrapper blade can be made longer farther from base, so no coconut falls on slab between base and plate during scrapping, as in this one some of it falls in the gap due to closeness. Deducting 1 star for it. For all the people, who are having problem with vacuum base, try placing it on a smooth surface like glass, granite, etc. A little bit of water on rubber pad before tighting it can also help. It was tried on granite and wood surfaces and malfunctioned from its very first use. Waste of money.
